I have to say, I'm 68, and I love all of Ren and The Big Push music. Just because you get old doesn't mean you stop listening to new music. This was great, thank you. 😊
just because you get old doesn't mean you stop listening to new music.....that is true. it is the RADIO that stopped playing new music! I am so sick of 60s 70s and 80s music it kinda gets me agro....it's like they want to keep us stuck there. if that isn't the case, then why isn't disco still on the airwaves? same era... somebody is biased... it's to keep us asleep at the wheel. fooged in.tuned out.
Big Push and Ren are amazing!!! But I want to shout out to the other members of Big Push!!! We all know Ren is blowing up (and he deserves it!!!); But EVERYONE in The Big Push is amazing!!!!
Picturesque...took me a second to understand what he meant when he first said it. BP just looked at him like erm...haha. He's right though it definitely has a sort of picturesque vibe both the artwork and this song. I love their original stuff, they're so good together that it's a shame they're not currently playing together but I have no doubt that now Rens doing so well on his own & them as a band are suddenly getting all this attention that they will end up doing some sort of show/tour/album together. Or even a surprise performance at one of Rens shows in the future. Awesome reactions with the both you btw ❤
It's important to know that Ren also has a song called "It's Alright" that is an entirely different song and has a video or two for it on his own channel. If you just see the title, you might assume you've already reacted to it, but it's not the same.
For me The Big Push is one of the greatest bands to never be discovered. They didn't really hit (to the masses) until after they'd split. It took Ren's, Hi Ren to get people looking and there they were. Every video they are musically, vocally, and visually compelling. It's really difficult to believe they ended before they were found. Reunion? Please?
"It's Alright" was their first single, released in spring 2018, and it was the last song that they played together in public, as the encore at their final show at Brighton Dome in fall 2022. They released this arrangement in spring 2019, which added more harmonising and a guitar duet between Ren and Romain at the end. It's their most popular song on Spotify, with 4.8M plays. Ren has an unrelated song with the same title, which he wrote in 2011 or 2012. He released a preview in spring 2012, but it wasn't officially released until he posted it on his renmakesmusic channel on Sound Cloud in spring 2015. He released the music video in summer 2016. That summer MIKVH also released a remix version, which currently has 4.5M plays on Spotify.
Yes! Thank you! Please consider doing The Big Push - Precious, I think it's the only love song Ren's released (yet lol). Oh, and Dignity, Romain wrote the verses and Ren added the hook, also a great one!
It pisses me off no one picked these guys up to introduce to the states . They were a great band , they had all the right stuff. The harmonies the attitude, the diversity of voice but integrated really well. All great musicians totally different but together they created an entity that should have been huge. ☮️
I get The Last Supper and Beatles vibe😂❤ I'm glad you said that Anthony cause I too feel like they are Beatle-esque. You should react to "Dignity" by The Big Push. Gives those farewell vibes sadly. These guys have so much love for each other
If you love this original from the Big Push, I think you would also love a couple of their other originals - Dignity and Precious. Anthony Ray was spot on with the Beatles reference - these guys are the closest thing I know to the vibe and talent level.
Oh this is a new video for this song that I haven’t seen before! Love it! I’m happy to see the trumpet player!!! His part is one of my favorite parts in the song. 🔥💜
Great reaction to a wonderful song. Someone said they wanted to shout out ALL the members of The Big Push. I agree, let's do that. The Big Push, a Brighton based busking band. Glenn Chambers was the drummer and Ren Gill, Romain Axisa, Gorran Kendall were the front men.
❤Thanks for all the Big Push love! There’s a video of their last live show, The Big Push at Brighton Dome. It’s a 2 hour show!! You guys would love it so much❤
Facts I'm 54 and literally been pretty much bored of music, coming from my 20,s as a dj but low and behold came across Ren and the big push and now me my family and friends are all 14 year old fan girls Crazy 😂
The Big Push tracks really brings out Ren’s natural singing voice, which I love. I think their stuff is so whimsical and has a really fun musicality to it, yet with a completely coherent message.
Im glad I discovered Big Push before they split and got to follow them for a while. Seems like those were times when Ren was just happy and having fun. I recommend 'Sweet Little Lady' and 'Precious' .. Those with Its Alright are probably my favorite.
This is a great original from The Big Push, they’re chemistry, harmonising & talents are phenomenal- they never miss - great to see you react to this one guys ❤
It's just a real mellow chill out song you could imagine listening to this song on a warm lazy day with a beer in one just watching the day to by that's the vibe I get
I have also compared these 3 to the Beatles. I have hope that maybe they will get back together after Ren's health is sorted out. (Which I also have hope for) ❤🙏
Love the wee korero at the end. Looking at the comments across reactions and over 2023, a significant part of Ren's demographic are the people who grew up with wildly varying genres and legendary artists making a statement. All of a sudden the wrinklies are captivated by great music again. That's some accomplishment!
This is probably the most care free feel ive witnessed in a song ...like a stroll through the park without a worry of time or anything but the sunshine falling so warmly upon you and the best smelling breeze and not a thought carried in the mind but how lovely is the very moment im in right this very minute. Love it. I feel the need to say bravo for this. Its a playlist keeper. Vibe perfection a real good feel good present type vine🔥it alright lol and then some 💯
The Big Push have quite a few really great original songs. Some of them don't get as much attention, because they don't have videos. One of my favorites is " All My Heroes. " I'd love to see the 2 of you react to their song called "Icarus" and then watch their BTS called Behind The Push: Icarus. The song is great, and the BTS is hilarious. You guys would love it!
I love Anthony's jacket! Especially when it has Popeye on it. My Dad was called Popeye or Pops. He passed away recently and I was contemplating getting a Popeye tattoo in remembrance! Seeing the jacket brought a tear to my eye as the memories flooded back. Where can I get a jacket like it. I'm in New Zealand and haven't seen anything like it.
There’s a version of this from a Ren and Sam Thompkins livestream from 2020 (pretty sure) Ren forgets all the words but it still sounds so good, especially with Sam being the trumpet 😂 and harmonising
New England has a lot of cobbled streets. My town was built in the early 1800s. You can find cool stuff like that everywhere while overlooking the Atlantic.
I live in a tiny little picturesque village in England so know exactly what you mean. No public transport. One road in and out. A river and one shop. That’s it.
BP/AR were talking about videos of Ren performing in a bar/show type venue (during the Ren/San Tompkins reaction) and all I could think about was the audience singing back, "It's all right!" while The Big Push were up on the stage. 💜💜💜 (Remind me: Is that the one where Ren does mouth trumpet? Whichever it is, that one is amazing.)
I have to say, I'm 68, and I love all of Ren and The Big Push music. Just because you get old doesn't mean you stop listening to new music. This was great, thank you. 😊
I'm 68, too, and love all of their music. So happy someone with such talent has come along!
just because you get old doesn't mean you stop listening to new music.....that is true.

@@annfarmer9704Radio still plays new music, but most of it is garbage and towards a certain agenda.
60 yr old female and now in love w ren and all of big push - Love them from Lisa from another lyme disease 🦠 patient
68 and ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Big Push and Ren are amazing!!! But I want to shout out to the other members of Big Push!!! We all know Ren is blowing up (and he deserves it!!!); But EVERYONE in The Big Push is amazing!!!!
For sure!
Totally agree, I subscribed to Romain page. He’s unbelievable as well.
Absolutely
If you want to see something really different by The Big Push, check out “ Swan Song”.
Yes please do swan song.
Yes!! I love Swan Song
Omg! Love Swan Song. They do an amazing job!!
Oh yes. Swan song is sublime ❤
Yes. A beautiful masterpiece.
The Big Push are incredible! I hope that they get back together!❤
Picturesque...took me a second to understand what he meant when he first said it. BP just looked at him like erm...haha. They're all so ridiculously talented it's gross and I love them.

This really is one of my favorites! This song actually made me pick up my trumpet and play after many years! Thanks for doing this one!❤️🔥✌🏻🫶🏻
That song was gorgeous. I think the English word Anthony was looking for was "picturesque," and this video and sound was definitely picturesque.
For me The Big Push is one of the greatest bands to never be discovered. They didn't really hit (to the masses) until after they'd split. Always a pleasure listening to Ren, the Big Push, you and Anthony! ❤❤❤
Yes Anthony I’ve said that a few times they really do remind me of the Beatles because they’re all different but they all go together so well 👍🏽✌🏼🐷

Thank you for this information. I love Romain. He is the kindest human ever too.
Yes! Thank you!
Please consider doing The Big Push - Precious, I think it's the only love song Ren's released (yet lol).
Oh, and Dignity, Romain wrote the verses and Ren added the hook, also a great one!
Precious has that "Beatles Vibe", too...
Yeah ppl sleep on Dignity, that song brings tears to my eyes everytime I just dont know why
I would say this is one of my favorites by them, but everything they do is my favorite! 😊
Finally!!! One of my favourites!! 😁👍❤️
3:41 - Hell yeah, dude. Somewhere between Octopus's Garden and Life Goes On.
They also have another great original song called ‘Radio‘ that they sang in a Live. Still waiting for them to release it tho huhu
Yes, I love that song.....the harmonies they have are fantastic!❤
It pisses me off no one picked these guys up to introduce to the states . They were a great band , they had all the right stuff. The big push precious definitely Beatles vibes but absolutely one of my favorite songs❤
Love it, Thanks Guys ❤❤❤
Oh this is a new video for this song that I haven’t seen before! Love it! I’m happy to see the trumpet player!!! His part is one of my favorite parts in the song. 🔥💜
What I love is Ren is surrounded by good people
Don't stress, IT'S ALRIGHT!!!!😊😊
Ren is brilliant!

Maybe they get back together when Ren finishes his treatment and moves back to Brighton... ❤
Im glad I discovered Big Push before they split and got to follow them for a while. Seems like those were times when Ren was just happy and having fun.
I recommend 'Sweet Little Lady' and 'Precious' .. Those with Its Alright are probably my favorite.
One of my very favorites ❤
The Big Push is one of the highest vibing bands I've ever experienced.
It is love and peace,im 68 so i was a little hippie in the late 60 and 70,but i love all thing Ren does,i can see everything Over and Over ❤
Absolutely a Beatles vibe! I’ve always felt this too
I agree with Anthony. There are a few Big Push songs that give me The Beatles vibes.
Check "Swan Song" and "Precious" , please!!!
This is a great original from The Big Push, they’re chemistry, harmonising & talents are phenomenal- they never miss - great to see you react to this one guys ❤

❤ "My Generation" definitely Beatles vibes!
“Dignity” by The Big Push is my favorite song! I would LOVE to see you and Anthony Ray react to it
I was thinking the same thing. I got beatles vibes too at the same point you did.
I'm 60 and I love all of The Big Push music as well as your original stuff. Great work boys!! ❤😂😊
Beatles vibes... great shout there...
Such a Beatles feeling! Love your reactions to The Big Push
The amount of talent in this band is phenomenal! Great reaction to a fantastic song! ❤️
Love this. Ren as always is superb and The Big Push is amazing. Thanks for your reaction guys ❤
This old person loves the young rowdy stuff! 😀
You should watch the live version at Chalk where the whole crowd are singing as well. Sensational.
This is probably the most care free feel ive witnessed in a song ...like a stroll through the park without a worry of time or anything but the sunshine falling so warmly upon you and the best smelling breeze and not a thought carried in the mind but how lovely is the very moment im in right this very minute. When Anthony Ray said this gives me a Beatles vibe that's exactly what I thought. As a matter of fact I can imagine this being a Beatles song.
The Big Push have quite a few really great original songs. Some of them don't get as much attention, because they don't have videos. One of my favorites is " All My Heroes. Rens killing us on and on. Anthony I love when I hear you rap in your native language. Need more.
I’m still getting a mix… folk, Beatles, Marley….. all together
We so need a Big push reunion
This song is one of my favorites along with DIGNITY
BP- we know you're genuine and authentic- that's why we keep checking in and liking.
There is another Ren song called ‘It’s Alright’
It’s beautiful and inspirational- check it out
I love the lyrics in this song and it's so well put together with their sound design.
Lovely song and fantastic reaction, very much a rainy day song vibe, loved it 🙏🦉❤️🐊👍
A Big Push song overlooked by many is " Swan Song "
Wow I've never heard this one before. It's amazing. Thank you so much for doing this one.
They add strings and horns to a few of their recorded songs ….. it’s killer every time I listen on Spotify
I never get tired of this song and I never get tired of you guys reacting to stuff!
Glad to see you two together~🎉 guess I caught this last, just glad, I caught it 😂❤🎉
Loving your content, especially on Ren. You really need to watch this! The Big Push Lockdown Live 1 - 16th April 2020 Amazing!!
Take care of you, from Wellington ❤️🩹
I love this one! I literally downloaded all of The Big Push last night on ITunes lol😅 great music
You two together- so very good. I’ve been listening to Ugly Boyz every day❤❤
There’s a version of this from a Ren and Sam Thompkins livestream from 2020 (pretty sure) Ren forgets all the words but it still sounds so good, especially with Sam being the trumpet 😂 and harmonising
Um. I’m 59 and LOVE All Ren! But I totally get it!!! 😂
Yes, credit to the big push, hugs ❤
is this your first The Big Push original? Hope you'll get to the Live from Home Live Nation concert sometime.
love it 🥰
I could listen to that all day. Thanks B P❤.
picturesque is the English term I believe and yes, Anthony .
Funeral just finished 😢
New England has a lot of cobbled streets. My town was built in the early 1800s. You can find cool stuff like that everywhere while overlooking the Atlantic.
The covers are stellar by the Big Push, but their originals are next level fantastic
I think Anthony was talking about “picturesque”
The first time I watched this, I said, they remind me of the Beatles!!
I live in a tiny little picturesque village in England so know exactly what you mean. No public transport. One road in and out. A river and one shop. That’s it.
Great reaction love this songs vibe!
Don't forget to check out their EP "can do, will do" everybody's is sleeping on this. All bangers

Definitely Beatles Vibes
Check out the live version 'The Big Push - It's Alright (live at chalk)'
BP/AR were talking about videos of Ren performing in a bar/show type venue (during the Ren/San Tompkins reaction) and all I could think about was the audience singing back, "It's all right!" while The Big Push were up on the stage. 💜💜💜
(Remind me: Is that the one where Ren does mouth trumpet? Whichever it is, that one is amazing.)
@@icyravens They have a trumpeter on stage with them in that version!!
Isn't it ironic, with Beautiful Morrissette, my children say that's you Mama.. wow children are amazing, they see everything 💗
By the way they are grown now, but it is reminiscent
Great possibility of The Big Push becoming well known and respected worldwide.. .. .IF.. .. .. ..
Picturesque
I love this! For me, I get Easy Like Sunday Morning - Faith No More vibes.
One of my faves!
Pure rock and roll.
I just ordered those glasses yay
ALRIGHT! Anothy iove when you rap in your home language
Another great reaction. You really, really should react to their 6 original songs on their EP Can Do Will Do. They'll blow your mind. Peace and love.
