    Take home a machine modeled after an espresso icon. Linea Mini is a kitchen-size version of the Linea Classic, a machine beloved by thousands of professional baristas and the core of your favorite cafés. Beautiful and durable, the Linea Mini is ready to last for many years to come.
    La Marzocco's Linea Mini is handcrafted in its Italian HQ, and then rigorously tested in its Melbourne workshop before shipping.
    In 1927, Bruno and Giuseppe Bambi founded La Marzocco in Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and home to such luminaries as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Brunelleschi. They created some of the most celebrated works of art in the world. La Marzocco has earned it's world renown reputation for making high quality, superbly crafted and uniquely designed espresso machines with great attention to detail.
    The first horizontal boiler coffee machine was developed and patented by La Marzocco in 1939. It has now become an industry standard. An important series of innovations followed, including the dual-boiler system and saturated brewing groups. The company has always been characterised by tradition and a passion for quality and superior reliability.
    Every stage of the production of each machine, which is hand-crafted for each and every client, is still overseen by highly specialised personnel. As a result, Giuseppe Bambi's great experience and professional pride continue to flourish after over eighty years. The company continues to be an artisan company while offering its customers and the industry important advances in equipment technology.

      I do mine is in red and I love it, I've had it for 1.5 years and I haven't had any issues, I use 100% reverse osmosis water and I drain the water boiler once a month to get rid of any minerals built-up. I have mine for home use and make me and my wife a 4-shot flat white every morning. Btw, I also roast my coffee in a behmor roaster. Thanks for the great video!

    Watching this review after just ordering the Linea Micra - it sounds like LA Marzocco have taken the same mentality in the way they've stepped down from the commercial machines to the mini - they've gone from the mini to the micra.... can't wait for my machine 💪💪

    Hi Pedro, love your videos! I have a milestone birthday coming up and am wanting to upgrade from a barista express. Plan to keep it Italian, plumb it in and pair with a Eureka Oro Mignon. Which would you recommend out of the Linea Mini, the Cinquantotto and the Giotto Type R?

    • @CoffeePartsTV
      @CoffeePartsTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Firstly, happy birthday!
      All great machines, and as you are pairing it with the Eureka Oro you will get great results whichever way you go. All machines have a rotary pump, which is my preference.
      Different will be HX vs Dual Boiler.. And hard to answer without knowing a little bit more about you? Do you want to make a lot of coffee in a row for, say, entertaining? What type of coffee will you mainly be doing etc?
      If milk-based, LM has the largest boiler and nicest steam. If mainly espresso, the LM and Cinquantotto offer a little more temperature control and stability, with LM having a faster warm-up time.
      In many ways tho, it's somewhat diminishing returns after the Giotto R...
      So does come down to which machine makes you smile and what budget you are cool with.
      Whichever way you go, you will have an awesome setup.

    Hola Pedro.. nice car you have there as well as the beautiful Linea Mini.. quick one, compared to other machines, how often does the Linea needs to be serviced and how much can it cost?

    • @CoffeePartsTV
      @CoffeePartsTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you.
      Servicing costs will depend on where you are located, however will reach out to BrewTech who does the Mini servicing in Australia on behalf of LM Home and let you know costs here.
      As for what needs to be done. Generally, the main things to do is to replace the group head seal every 6-12 months, and things like the shower screen and filter baskets every couple years. Does depend on use tho. And then a larger service every 5-7 years. In saying that they are a solid machine built with the same quality as the commercial versions.
      One main thing to keep in mind is the water quality, as scale is what causes most of the issues. Ideal water for coffee and machine maintanance is a tds of around 100ppm

    At this point, would you still recommend the Mini for home use or the Micra? I’m concerned about the short clearance of the Micra, between the portafilter and the drip tray. Thanks!

    Hi Great video! How would you compare this to the Rocket Cinquantotto? I know there is a big price difference but specs on paper is almost the same. How about the build quality compared to the Rocket Cinquantotto?

    • @CoffeePartsTV
      @CoffeePartsTV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Build is similar on both.
      In terms of the machine, similar in many ways, and also different.
      LM has an app, Rocket control is via the screen.
      Major difference is e61 group head vs integrated group head, and steam boiler size, with the LM being larger. Lm also comes with stainless handles.
      Both cool brands, LM does have cult status tho, and price may reflect this too.
      You are right tho, definitely comparable machines.

    Is there any chance that we could have a LMLM with flow control?

    • @CoffeePartsTV
      @CoffeePartsTV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As in to buy, or for me to have on the channel?
      LMLM don't come from factory with flow control, and I don't see them doing this, yet there are aftermarket companies who have done this...

    too fussy on water minerals. it'll choke like a princess if its not just the right balance of h2o mineralization. this sort of analism is a massive fail. my 10 yr old la scala butterfly made espresso just as good without the princessism on Linea. So pass. this mini is just for fools with more money the sense.
