I am interested in seeing the analytics of this channel in the long run. Keep up the hard work, guys. I think making a second channel was the right move.
This is what’s been missing from the community, I believe old school commentary and creators can evolve into cod historians and let the new gen players understand what all the fuss is today in the community. You guys got a new sub , absolutely loving the channel !!!!
Another good example of gamers not knowing what they want is MWZ itself. Everyone thought it would be a boring Outbreak clone or like Vanguard. But it turned out to be pretty fun at first - aside from the ridiculous retention mechanics. But there is a famous quote by Bill Hader where he says, "Listen to the audience when they tell you something is wrong but don't listen when then they tell you how to fix it."
I do genuinely agree with Bill Hader's quote for the most part. I do think the "fixes" the audience suggests should be taken into consideration but not implemented without thinking of other solutions or at least refining what was suggested.
Great podcast! I'd like to see an episode on What cod MOSTLY deserves a remaster next AND how faithful it should be(a 1 to 1 remaster? A mwiii style remake? Or an mwr remake where they just added new guns and collections but kept things reasonable?)
IW is still my favorite cod in the franchise so hell yes I want another jetpack cod(iw2 100%). I was very surprised you guys talked about bo3 being BOtG friendly but not cod iw. IW's jetpacks were more smooth and your reticle wouldn't bob around and be inaccurate like it was in bo3. Plus iw literally made an entire BOtG moshpit that reworked movement completely(if you think mwii into mwiii was a big change, iw's BOtG mode was just as big if not more due to how it changed the way maps are played).
I don’t play cod anymore but I do like this podcast. Because I want to like cod again. I just feel like call of duty is for a different audience now. Which is crazy cause I’m only 26. I just feel like it moved on without me
@@GoingDarkPodcast I wish I could say the same. Even down to the core gameplay I really just dislike it. I think the core gunplay just feels so terrible. I know it’s preference but I just prefer the way they felt prior to the new engine they started using with mw2019
Yes, bring back Advanced Movement. & Yes, I want another Ghost. Not necessarily for MP(although I wouldn't mind them bringing back a lot of the MP systems just with a color pallet, and better gameplay), but because I am an Extinction Lover, and I want to see the Campaign Continued. Ghosts has one of the worst/best Cliffhangers. It is terrible because Rorke is somehow still alive(bro was invincible), but it was great because of what happens to your character. Ghost 2 could be a direct sequel that can stand on its own(so it'd call back to the first game, but it wouldn't be necessary for the player to play it in order to understand the story). The MC from the first game could now be the villain, and we either play as his brother, or someone completely different(but the brother would have to show up). On the Extinction front, the story needs to continue(because the ending was wild), and I enjoyed the gameplay loop. Bring back the Extinction Levels, but also introduce something similar to DMZ/MWZ(since Extinction was already an Extraction Based Mode(at least when you beat a level), so it'd work in the style of DMZ far better than Zombies does.
The campaign is a absolute masterpiece. By far the best campaign in all of COD. I think y’all might need to revisit the story or watch an accurate campaign explaining to really understand how much of a mind fuck it is
We need jet packs, laser guns, a space station map and of course and most of all we need a lower tick rate server and make sure it runs on the oldest game engine possible, they pushing boundaries over at activision, microsoft couldnt pass up shelling out billions for this one of kind advanced next generation ip
