I have the mechanical Brawler 750cfm BR-67331 on my Duster. I was pleased when I took mine apart that there wasn't casting sand also lol. Can't wait to see how it performs. Great video!
I can't wait to see how you tune this. I'm really wanting to learn exactly what you have to do to get everything set right. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!
I have a 750 Quickfuel I've been running for a couple years and am really happy with it. Something I noticed on yours is that they have the rear float for use with jet extensions but didn't include the jet extensions. Mine did come with jet extensions. Not a big deal, just something I noticed.
I think you will like it, I helped my buddy with one on his bracket car (low 12's) jet extensions and front pump cam were the only changes and it picked the car up everywhere so much that he didn't have to bump in so far to hit the tree. He had an old wore out 650 double before. Good carb for the money.
I have the same carburetor except I got the one without the chokehorn. Don’t really need a choke in Florida LOL. It’s a good carburetor. We had to jet the primaries down on my 440 to 70s.
I used to do a lot of work on Holley's and I really like the annular boosters for street cars, especially for the primary side. The only downside to the annular booster is that it is more restrictive and will limit flow a bit compared to a downleg booster. The last Holley 4 barrel carbs to come on a production engine, that I am aware of, came in the 1985 Mustang GT 5 speed cars. That carb had annular booster in the front and regular straight leg boosters on the back. That was an excellent carb.
Good day! It’s nice that they have a slotted float in rear for the extensions. My AED had brass front and rear, and no extensions. That was on the HP series that didn’t have a choke horn. I bought the extensions and new rear float and NEVER installed them yet in my barracuda. It’s on my list 😂
I got the 650. That baby was rich. I wanted the 750 but was told by everyone to much carburetor for the street. I don’t know and I am not a pro at carburetor work. I have changed everything on it. Everything!! Seems to work but when you put it to the floor I think it should pull harder then it dose. But you know how it goes! That’s why we are in the shop. Good luck to you and I want to see how a pro tunes this bad boy.
318 will do what ? I missed that part at the end. Was it 318 will walk 🤦😆jk. Thats a nice carb , I almost got a brawler but ended up buying a proform 750 race series carb off amazon only because it was marked down as a used carb which it was never used it was a display or someone just sent it back but everything was there and it was perfect and worked perfect and they only wanted 300 bucks for it because it was marked "used" when it was originally priced at $584 so when I saw that i said proform it is 🤣 but almost everyone that runs a carb runs brawler and they love them. Must work good with everyone using them
Definitely don’t buy the cheap Holley 750 double pumpers . They might be ok but they look like total crap. The finish is pathetic. Definitely sending them back.

Ha!! I hold my breath on every purchase these days !!! Thanks for watching!

Thanks! Hopefully it won't need a lot of tuning.. .. hopefully !
Got one on my 383 Chevy, and it’s really an excellent carb
Good looking carb, I wouldn't use a carb that doesn't smell good either. LOL
You got that right!

Fantastic eye !!!! And I wonder why they did it on the rear and not the front ???? Anyways, great to hear from ya, buddy !!!
@@318willrun I always thought the jet extensions were to help draw fuel sloshed to the back of the bowl during launch. Not needed in the front.
@@Mynextproject_74 I mean the brass float and plastic float ?? Usually both plastic
@318willrun yeah, I noticed the same difference in my 670 vacuum secondary when I had it apart yesterday. Not sure what the reason.
Nice looking carb. I like the color combination. If it works as good as it looks, I think you have a winner.
we are hoping! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the feedback !!! I appreciate it !!!
Don’t think you will be disappointed! Put brawler on my big block ford and that woke it up some!
Good to hear !!

I agree with you on the annular boosters! Precisely!
Nice purchase! Looks like it should be a great carburetor! Going to be cool to see how it works!
We are looking forward to it! Thanks for watching!!

Thanks Joe ! And you cut consistent 1.5's ..... go figure !! I was thinking about how well your car 60 fts....
@@318willrun I think it would have picked up with 4.56’s over the 4.10’s. Now I will throw in a 400 and mess up the whole combination 😂
@@JustMoparJoe ... and may simply go faster !!
That's a nice looking air sucker!
now.. we hope it performs !!
Looking good 👍
Thanks 👍
Some af the smaller engines go brawless for comfort.
Brawler makes me think of a '70's V8 with a factory 4bbl, single exhaust being floored.... BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAwler
Honest review.
Looks impressive, anticipating your results.
Thank you!
Hey, that looks like a really nice piece, I've seen a lot of good comments on them, good choice.
Thanks! Yes, they do have good reviews!

Adjust the accelerator pump
Happy New Year!! 👍
Happy new year!
Lol looking forward to seeing it run.
Us too !!! Thanks Stephen !
Fuel or Drool? Looks like drool everywhere! 😀 Nice carb!
Both! Thanks for checking in !!!
Do you have video of this carburetor running?

Interesting. I saw no jet extensions to help deal with fuel slosh on hard acceleration. Holley still hasn't learned.
I have some on the way !!!!
Uncle Tony just made the same comment on his channel! ;)
nice carb!
Thanks !!!
Was just gifted the same 750 carb after a buddy went efi. Think it'll be too much carb for my mild 318? Thanks!
It's just going to take some tuning but you can get it to work on a 318 for sure.

@@318willrun >........and it is probally made in the same factory by holley
I like the 2.2 Reliant 😂
I have owned a few of those too !!!! Thanks for watching!

750 !
C'mon, Tim. It's nice snough out. You gotta be itchin' to burn some rubber.
i get the itches for sure !!!
Let up know 🚒👍
You bet !
I have edelbrock carbs. Says Weber on the side so guess I have Weber carbs too.
