- My first day living away from my mum at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and I have a couple of checklist items that I would like to fulfil today. Join me on completing these "quests" and also watch a cool music montage I made for the brilliant sea view of HKUST towards the end of the video. I studied abroad at HKUST in 2011. I'll be honest, I didn't like it, so I'm glad that you're having a better experience. I'm actually considering visiting HK this Fall. It will be my first time back since 2011. I stayed away because I didn't enjoy 2011, but it's still one of the places that I have called home, if only for a few months. The dorms look unchanged. =)

Yes I'm pretty sure, they usually give single rooms to masters and phds

@@JamAteJam Afaik it is hard to be chosen for Hall VII,VIII, & IX. Most students end up in Hall V. I want to know how you get into Hall VII, please🥺. I mean is there anything that made you stand out or increased your points for the selection.
@@karimova1110 As a year two, sure you can join societies and stuff to add hall points and maximise your chances, but I got in in year 1 so that was just very lucky, good luck 🤞😀
