Wow I would say I had a very similar experience with you dude LOL. I'm from HK and I did my studies up to Year 9 in HK and went to Brisbane for high school (Years 10-12). I was from the class of 2018, so we did OP instead of ATAR/IB. I decided to go back to HK for university, and I applied for HKUST and HKU as well! The offer of HKUST also came so much earlier, in fact, my HKU offer only came the week before classes start (end of August) LOL. But I eventually decided to go to HKU and gave up my HKUST offer (luckily I got the deposit back haha).
Doing university in HK is very different from high school in Australia, not only academically, but the entire vibe, study atmosphere, time schedules etc. Both schools are top schools in HK so do expect you need to work hard! Nevertheless, university is a very fun time indeed, so just wanna say good luck and enjoy your time in HK!
In my opinion, HK is the best place to live in the entire world hahaha, and that's why I moved back. I'm graduating at the end of this year, and I kind of envy you that you have just started university! Cos when I was a freshman, Covid just hit and we got locked down. I missed a lot of fun uni experiences too bad. 學弟加油喔!看你的視頻仿佛讓我回到自己大一充滿憧憬的心情哈哈哈。

In case you haven't noticed, people from Hong Kong are leaving in droves, do you know why? And you are going there? I hope you know that the National Security Law is a compulsory course to past now for every Uni Student in Hong Kong.

@@JamAteJam Don't be misled by that guy. I know many HK people too. They think those ppl who fled HK are stupid and must have been brainwashed by western media. Anyway, I am a Malaysian who lived in the UK for over 20 years. I also wish to send my son to HK to study. My advice to you is avoid talking politics with the young hkers, it would be a waste of your time.

Not everyone is gullible like you, why do you blindly believe in whatever the mainstream media told you?? Anyway, I am sending my son to HK to study next year.
