Hi there! Thanks for the comment. Yes I came to HKUST not knowing a single person. Although it may be a little more difficult to connect with locals if you only speak english, I believe overall it is still quite easy to make new friends as long as you are open to it :)

@@JamAteJam Afaik it is hard to be chosen for Hall VII,VIII, & IX. Most students end up in Hall V. I want to know how you get into Hall VII, please🥺. I mean is there anything that made you stand out or increased your points for the selection.
@@karimova1110 As a year two, sure you can join societies and stuff to add hall points and maximise your chances, but I got in in year 1 so that was just very lucky, good luck 🤞😀

Well I personally don't go out partying, but it's definitely not just stress and pressure either. Obviously the academics are gonna be tough, but I definitely still have time to workout, play sports, and social. Hope this helps :)
