    A few comments - I have this bike and it DOES have cancelling indicators but DOES NOT have linked brakes. It is also a lot of fun on nice twisty roads - boring motorways, not so much...
    Bike magazine in the UK gave it 5 stars in their review. For what I paid, I'm very happy - but it's not really an adventure bike, more a comfortable sport-tourer.
    Do agree that the screen could be a bit better!

      +0 to 100 Adventure I had a go on a Cross tourer DCT but found it a very big bike and kind of over budget for me. I do love DCT. I think I will look at one further down road :)

    Listen here for god sake I am now 70 years young been riding since I was 16 years old did my first track day at 60 not proud of my times but hey it was my first time out ?? I view many many reviews of bikes and this one is not a bad review but sadly i decided to open my big mouth here and not at others !! NOT SURE WHY?? You can ride a Honda 50 c.c. and have fun and go around the world with probably less issues than any other bike if the truth were known . You can do the same on a 125 175 200 250 800 1000 1100 1200 get the drift Its all down to what you want / expect.. You get stuck in sand with a 1200 and i bet you wish you had a 50 c.c. you can drop a 1100 and wish you had a 125 etc etc etc On the motorway your 50 c.c. will drive you insane and on and on it goes BUT AND A BIG BUTIf you want a reasonably priced bike that is smooth to ride but a little heavy this is the bike for you Tust me it is VERY VERY VERY RELIABLE VERY VERY VERY WELL MADE AND TO BE HONEST A MISSED GEM You can keep your B.M.W.'s that are well over priced. This bike if you are not into 100%sports bikes will do all you need it to and more I would not swap mine for the world and no I am not an old git that just looks through rose tinted glasses you listen to me if you want to go touring and feel good after many many miles then this bike will not let you down If you want a fancy badge that costs a fortune and to be honest is no better go and get a B.M.W. just like their new cars living on history they are a joke and i just wish one of these chaps that do these so called reviews would give an honest appraisal for once !! My friend who has the German
    machine has spent a fortune on this so called fantastic stalion. Every time we go out something crops up but no its a BEMA so all will be well will it not SADLY NO IT WILL NOT !! When it does go down we need to hire a fucking crane to get it back on its feet When it does need a part we need a moratge BUT ITS A BEAM SO ALL IS WELL IS IT NOT !!! If you want alittle less weight but still a great bike but not as smooth then look no further than the Suzuki V strom Its a twin V format so not as smooth as I would like but still a great little machine and great great value for money It is also still made in Japan which says something does it not !! Anyway up to you but thats my review in one hit so good luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Good review my man. Phrased as an old timer. Your words are food for though

    It's the servicing charges with the complicated valve train that puts me off the VTEC.

    • @0to100Adventure
      @0to100Adventure  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +DervMan yeah, the dealers certainly charge a pretty penny and they are not getting any cheaper!

    • @vtecshepherd
      @vtecshepherd 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It isn't totally awful. Took me about a month what with 2 dogs and a crazy job and anal retentive attention to detail. I only had 1 valve sliiiightly tight, (.005") out of 16 at 42000 miles. The "OMG VTEC IS THE DEVIL" sentiment is largely overplayed imo. I've had my VFR for 7 years, never selling it.

    • @netkongen
      @netkongen 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't fear it. It is not that complicated.

    Thanks for review. Very useful. Just yesterday ordered this bike. But my personal impression is that this bike does not have anything with sport... just good allrounder.. :)

      0 to 100 Adventure thanks man. Do more reviews. Pleasure to watch it. If possible show also opened seats, how much space there... these tiny details also very very interesting for people who is looking for a new bike.

    Dzięki za recenzje - właśnie rozglądam się za kolejnym moto i na placu boju zostały VFR 800 Crossrunner i Tracer 900 gt... Twoim zdaniem poradzi sobie w mieście? Nie jest za szeroki do przeciskania się w korkach? Jak z jazdą na niskich obrotach - nie dostaje czkawki? Wiem, że troche czasu minęło od testu ale może coś pamiętasz:)?

    This looks like the Honda version of TDM

    • @lmmbjt
      @lmmbjt 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      ktmeric1985 I could not agree more , I replaced my tdm with this bike and it is a up to date version of a tdm . And that is no bad thing , I had my tdm for 11 years.

      Actually, the bike was okay and I was fine. The problem came afterwards, I limped with crutches for weeks, but all good now and I continue to ride!

    Yeah …
    Why do you keep asking questions, when you are commentating. We are not in a conversation with you.
    You are “ giving “ info about the bike.
    Must be a local SA thing.. yeah ?
    Thanks for the review.
    Seat is fine for me.
    Yeah ?
    Yeah…

    how it feels against crosstourer? I mean in a term of size. it is the same size or it is feel smaller?

    • @0to100Adventure
      @0to100Adventure  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it definitely feels smaller than the crosstourer, wider seat and shorter, lower. The bike itself feels more like sport tourer unlike the Crosstourer more adventure touring. A nice bike! Many thanks for watching and safe riding!

    Mic too close to mouth. Sounds awful

    • @0to100Adventure
      @0to100Adventure  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Arbitrator207 yes I figured out that the mic was the wrong way round,the mic sits in the helmet and there is not much space so there is a noise reduction cap but it has to face the other way... I have in the meantime solved this problem. Thanks for watching.

    rode super tennere, triumph tiger xrc, crosstourer and BMW R1200GS Adventure, BMW is far better than all of them.. The end.

    • @0to100Adventure
      @0to100Adventure  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MagicAyrtonforever all good bikes but I won't go as far as saying that BMW is by far the best. It is a good bike but like everything else it is a matter of opinion and it will vary from rider to rider and I will respect that.
