@@OLdweeb yes that really upset me that I couldn’t get everything in the frame. It’s because of the wind muffler I have on my camera. I can’t see where I’m pointing the camera. Hopefully that will never happen again.

You know there's no reason why you can't break those bigger pieces up with a hammer and then tumble them just make sure you put a shirt or some piece of material over the rock before you smash it so it doesn't come up and hit you in the eyeball
You know beaches are not the only place where you can find stuff that's worth money if you can get permission you can go into Parks schools school grounds playgrounds old homes with large yards places where they had especially events like farm and carnivals there's a lot of places out there that don't have sand where people lose nice things
Really not a rock hound if you don't know what you're looking at ..you might want to consider getting a nice book on rock identification with colored pictures

It's not crystal quartz unless it's clear like glass hexagonal and pointed
