Great video sir; the dog was also a helping "paw" . I keep a galvanized water pipe approx. 2 ' long just for these cases. I run the axle nut back on, and bend away. I believe Mrs. Husqvarna needs to shed a couple of Lbs. , and stop stepping on the front of the mower. 🤣

You can flip those gears over to get a little more life out of them as the only wear on the outside half.

Love the loyalty of your dog I have the same problems with my huskavarna awd.the transmission is bad or the pulley is seized ,I've seen this on huskavarna and Honda mowers.thanks for the wheel straitening tip I see the same problems on my AWD.👍 It takes cutting wet grass with a mulching plug to damage a pulley or transmission on this mower or Honda mower ,I never use a mulch plug it's extra work on these parts and breaks them. I use a bag or shoot grass out.

The trans may be good but the pinion gears and the wheels aren't so they don't move the axles when you turn them. Possibly.

Probably just needs new wheels. I’ve never in almost 30 years of working on mowers, seen both gear boxes and all the gears go bad
