Thanks again for ur content. I'm learning a lot. And ur channels making it a joy to learn. Studying for my foundation licence. So can't transmit but i'm thrilled just monitoring atm. 👍
If you aren’t learning to tune your own duplexers and if not hiding solar powered shtf repeaters in the mountains, you just have a more powerful set of FRS radios.
Thank you for the simlplification-i feel as though as though it's a turn off when TH-camrs over complicate a radio tutorial. I rather sit in an other semester of stats or coding than listen to them explain simple instructions through Dad jokes. Thank you
@tray8411 Wouxun seems about the best for those of us who are not Kenwood or Motorola programming savvy. Even Wouxun has issues with their CTCSS/DCS tones not encoding and/ or decoding properly. Which tones are a problem depend on the individual radio and/or model. I have had CTCSS/DCS issues with the KG905G (worst of all), KG935G, KG935G+, KGS88G, and KG1000G+. At least the Wouxuns are fairly easy to get to program with a computer.
At 42 seconds, that guy needs help holding the mic.😆 That was great...
LOL
First thing that gets your attention.....😂😂
First thing I saw. He must be loud. LOL
And to think ive been holding the mic wrong all these years..
Lmao to funny
Is that the trick? Talking to the back of a hand mic
He is a loud talker 👍
Lol taking to the back of a mic😅😅😅😅
Haha right
Dude in red jacket was just asked what his GMRS call sign was and couldn’t remember.
That guy is a mess…
Seemed the women of this video had the art of radio communication hands down, but the last guy was trying to look into my soul.
Lol, thanks for watching Randy 👍
What about the guy talking into the back of the microphone. Lol.
That last guy was the reincarnation of the real Grigori Rasputin.
That dude needs help he is wearing women's earings...
What's with the guy wearing the red jacket? He just stares...no talkie! Creepy...
Repeaters and external high gain antennas are the big extra for GMRS
For sure, thanks for checking it out 👍
i use a CB radio with a 1500 watt amplifier into 9' antenna mounted to a 1000' tower...i can be heard all over town no problem
I’d imagine you get out pretty good 👍
not easy finding decent stock footage for anything radio related. Think you got them all...including homeboy talking into the clip mount LOL
LOL, I laughed so hard when I saw him do that.
I was just watching this short video and thinking the same thing😂, why is he talking into the back of the microphone?😂😂😂
What's up with the dude talking into the back of the microphone???
He didn’t read the manual 👍
@@TheSmokinApe oh wow, maybe that's been my problem too!

Best of luck on the test, thanks for watching 👍

I only had 60 seconds so I didn't cover that

Thanks Carlos, glad you like the videos 👍
This ad is misleading though you cannot use gmrs for any business. You can only use it for personal use
What's with the base station user talking into the back side of the mic?
You don’t need a license for GMRS
Well, where you pass a test
Stupid film-making for an important subject!
Yea but I can’t talk to someone say 10 miles away right?
Not point to point
Yes, you can, depending on wattage and terrain.
If you're at a higher location and/or have an outdoor antenna, you probably can!
Pro-Tip; avoid Midland and B-Tech radios like the plague. They are crap!
Newer BTech isn't as bad as they use to be😊
What would u recommend? Tnk u
Midland LXT490 X-Tra Talk GMRS/FRS WX/WX Alert radios are excellent! They were on the market about 10 years ago.
