i came to your channel from Roxanne's discussion about your collab project. how the heck have i not found you before, Billie? you are amazing! now i have the dilemma of deciding if i will watch all of your videos in chronological or reverse-chronological order.
You're so cute! Now if you could just help spread the word!! I suggest watching from Ep. 1 (when the quality wasn't as good) so you can see the progressive improvement. Also, I introduce myself and give perspective. Happy viewing...and thanks for a charming comment.
Harlequin is going to look wonderful in the colours you've chosen; I'm looking forward to watching your progress in future episodes. The section on cutting the steek on Jeannie was very helpful; I will be doing the same with my Jeannie very soon, fingers crossed.
I'll be curious to know if you find the steeking as nerve-wracking as I did...and all the ribbing...so anti-climactic after months of knitting on this baby every day.
Nice work! I’m done with my Jeannie sweater. I haven’t blocked it yet but that will be done soon. I liked the Harlequin project very much. Loved the pearl set.
I blocked Jeannie before steeking to try to even out my stitches. I hoped it would help those little loops line up in straight columns. Thanks for suggesting Fray Check. Glad I waited for it to arrive before I made the initial cut! I think the pearls might work with Harlequin. We'll see. I'm fortunate to have these jewels from my mother and her mother; a perk of being an only child.

A great knitting show Billie, really looking forward seeing the end result of Jeannie. 💕💕
Hopefully soon. It's been such a long time in the making!
