I have been married to a Filipina for over 20 years. There have been challenges in our relationship, but I think they are of the nature that can happen with anyone. Occasionally, they are related to our different cultures, but more often it is related to our differences in our families and upbringing, which again, could happen to anyone even in the same culture. I don’t think there is anything too different than Americans. One thing maybe is the tendency towards passive aggressive behaviors (like tampo) rather than aggressive behaviors (like yelling). Neither of them are good behaviors, and both people in the relationship should work on themselves, to develop assertive behaviors, instead of any form of aggression.
A lot of filipinas can speak english, but many cannot understand the words they are speaking. Many times i have asked or told my gf something, she gives a blank stare. Because she does not understand the exact meaning of what i am saying,,,it happens all the time
For Filipinos, English is a second language, but it’s definitely different from that of native speakers🤔 Non-native speakers who can communicate smoothly with native speakers must have put in a lot of effort💪 However, I believe this is a challenge that can be overcome with mutual understanding and care☺️ Thank you for sharing your experience! Wishing you a wonderful and happy relationship! 🥰
These younger Filipinas speak English very well, perhaps the language barrier they are talking about is with non English speaking foreigners, either way if I was to move to another country learning the native language would be a priority for me
Most, if not all, Asian countries are collectivist societies, so there will be a small hurlde tuning into the culture if coming from a inividualist country Tampo You don't just date the person, you date the family On the flipside, barriers when dating foreigners Have a (unintentionall) sense of superiority coming from a richer country Fell victim to the "traditional wife" rhetoric, and come to Asia looking for subserviance
Thank you for not asking their IGs in the video. It came across as kinda trashy. You could still do it off-camera and post it in the description or comment section. Just my opinion though. I've been loving the videos keep it up!
First of all, thank you for enjoying my video🙏 Also, thank you for all the suggestions! I’ll keep them in mind! Please continue to enjoy my upcoming videos☺️
haha, age doesn’t matter at all:) I simply asked for their advice from the perspective of Filipinas🇵🇭👩 Besides, their answers were so thoughtful and didn’t reflect their age at all☺️ Thank you for enjoying the video😆
What do you think are the challenges of dating a Filipina?🧐🇵🇭

The first and last one
Do you want to date a foreigner
Envy and gossiping is the reasons. People there have the inability to mind their own business. Makes life there impossible to enjoy.
I’m sorry but taking advice from two girls barely 18 with no life experience.
