    Hello Mam, Gautam, on this side, my issue is employment overlapping for 18 days... It is a case of 2018, I started my job on 11 Sept 2018 and I have resigned on 22 Nov 2018 however my employer mentioned my exit date in my relieving letter is 15 Dec 2018. So how can I change it...I have also checked my PF contribution history, and there is no payment credited on that duration...However, I already transferred all my amount of PF to my next employer. my issue is related to Background verification in MNCs how to tackle this issue regarding my BGV of overlapping...plz provide me suggestion

    I joined in MNC on behalf of my consultancy. It is third party payroll. I got better job, so am decided to join there but joining date is near. My notice period is 30 days i told to my consultancy i can serve 17 day's only. She accepted but telling MNC client is not accepting, she telling they will abscond u. What i need to do shall join new company or i need to serve notice period to that MNC. But offer letter issued by consultancy with their name only, they mentioned their notice period only. But client is not ready to reduction

    I have Q related to PF. I have joined 1 company before my clg. I Have not even worked for company but it is showing in PF account for 1 day like DOJ 15-7-21 and DOE 15-7-21. But i do have only reliving letter with me for this. Will this creat any problem for me??

    If company have 60% eligibility criteria throughout carrier.And I have less than 60 percent in my 10 in (science +maths+sst+hindi+English)but if take best of 5 subjects (hindi+English+science+sst+ information technology),here information technology is additional subject . is it 65% am I eligible??     Hi, I have only a first name on my official documents. A friend in a similar situation was advised to put a hyphen in the mandatory last name field on forms, as her passport also lists only her first name. Following this advice, I did the same when applying for a job. Will this be acceptable?

      If your id cards like passport, aadhaar, DL etc hv only your first name then no problem.. but HR may put your first name in place of last name in some tools where last name is mandatory.. for eg Priya Priya.

    I have worked as a consultant for 2 companies overlapping by 1 month. Both are not employment I m hired as consultant who submits invoice every month. Is that an issue in BGV ? Also I dont have a UAN number and i havent mentioned the name of an employer with whom I worked for 2 weeks. I received salary but no pf or uan is created. Are these issues, please let me know

      If u were not on their payroll then no problem of dual employment . U were just working as freelancer. Pf and Uan doesnt apply on u

      If the company is there on PF , it means you were employed even if for one day. Yiu will need relieve letter or some kind of clarification from the company

    My Designation is Executive Hub Operation i join a company as Support Engineer say them that i was doing support engineer job on my job so i just wanted to know that if BGV company checks Designation or not if yes then in my case is it going to be an issue as i have all the official documents but the only thing is my designation was different so please maam reply

      U paid internship is not considered employment. It will be better to remove it from resume if you dont hv documents of u paid internship as it does not hv a value add..

      No. If you have an affidavit on a stamp paper, name chznges are ok. I had also done it yo correct the spelling of my name

      It's better to not join Accenture in this case as there is a very high possibility that your background verification status will be red and you may be asked to leave after joining. I am working with Accenture so I know these checks are conducted in Accenture

      Designation should be same as on your employment documents, otherwise it csm be called out if your next employer uses big verification vendors like firstadvantage or KPMG etc

    My father name is present incorrectly in epfo protal and uan.
    I already send joint declaration form for father name correction.dont know how much time it will take.
    With in a month i have to join new organization.will incorrect father name in epfo will create any problem in background verification.
    Do IT company checks father name in epfo portal for background verification.

      They wont chk father's name in epfo. Howver,for better safety, get an effidafit done declaring the issue by a notory

    Hi mam , i have two questions first one is how much time does it take for bgv process to complete? And second is my designation in current organisation is associate quality engineer but in resume i have mentioned it as just associate will it create a problem for me during bgv ?

      1. Bgv takes 10 to 30 days to complete depending on number of ex-employers, delays from ex-employers, universities, police verificastion etc.
      2. In case of large orgsnisations, yes. Your job title should be same in resume, verification applicstion and ex-employer documentation

      @@SocialOnion if bgv form I have mentioned it as associate quality engineer and also in ex employer document it is mentioned as associate quality engineer but only in resume I have mentioned it as associate, if I talk to hr and can tell her I have mentioned it as associate as it an entry level role would it be a problem?       If these are after 2015 and your UAN accounts were created/pf was deducted, then bgv vendor will come to know. For implications, please watch video again, i hv discussed this topic in the video.

    Mam, after graduation i worked in BPO for 8 months after that I absconded and i joined IT as freshser and i worked there for 2years. I have proper offer, releiving letter ..and now i got another company offer i stated them as 2 years experience by neglecting that bpo experience would that be an impact on bgv ..or they will check only the relevanc experience?

      If absconded after UAN mandate, that is oct 2014 and if that employment was updated on UAN then a thorough verification which expose it..

    Hi mam , i am working in my current company for more than 2 years , but initially when i was going to join the company, during background verification i got a mail from the agency asking for the details and documents required for my employment , but the company they provided in the email was not my company name , it was the technology i was hired for and have been working and i was not sure why they took it as my employr , i then clarified them in the mail that it was not the company it was the technology , company name was this this and i have provided already company related documents this documents were all real and not a single information in that was wrong , after that i have not got any email from them , will it cause me any problem in future

      No. If they didnt send you anymore emails later and you hv been working there smoothly, it means the issue has been resolved.

      Depends on HR and leadership. You should convey this clearly on an email and let the HR take soecial approval if they find your camdidacy really good. You cannot hide it and should not, else , if they want, they can withdraw your offer

      depends on what police says during police verification. civil cases like property disputes see fark nahi padta but this is criminal case

    Man maine graduation ke time ek pvt ltd company register karke ek startup start kiya tha but maine graduation complete hone se pehle uske directorship chor diya hu aur share transfer kar diya haii aur abhi mera mba last semester hai toh resume me ye mention karna parega isme job me bhi koi dikkat hogi

    Hi mam , recently i have got offer letter from a company , during salary negotiation i have mentioed that whatever written on my salary slip is with only 5 percent bonus included but my actual salary is way more than that as we got bonus of 15 to 20 percent around every year, so i have told him my actual amount is approx that amount which is more than my written ctc , but in my bgv form i have mentioed the only salary that has been written on ctc and i have atatched history of bonuses and all payslip , will it cause any issue in bgv

      If, what you hv written in bgv form matches your ctc documents, it should be okay. However, from now on, plz give accurate info even during oral discussion/interview

    Hi mam,I had another confusion, during my joining to my current organisation almost 2 year back i filled up bgv form where i mentioned my designation as programmer analyst but in my relieving letter i got as junior product specialist, but in my last organisation programmer analyst is actually the main grade based designation and junior product specialist was role based designation, i have informed thar to bgv company in mail prior with proper documentation where my programmer analyst designation was written, will this cause any issues in future

      No. Just job title & dates. But plz dont exagerrate on resume, it will come out eventually if you are not able to perform. Plz keep resumes honest

    My notice period is 90 days. My manager has approved my request for early release after serving 60 days notice period.which is o 31st Oct. But current company HR is not supporting me in further process and now I have to join a new company on 3rd Nov, now I am not able to understand what to do because they are not relieving me, even though I am ready for buy out option. But they are not ready. HR is telling me that it will take some time. They are not even giving any exact date for all these approvals as to how many days it will take.
    The joining date of my new company is 3rd November which can not be extended further as per new HR confirmation and officially my 90 days notice period is completing on 2nd December and I had asked for release considering 31st October as the last working day.
    So if now I join a new companyon 3rd Nov. and if my current company are providing me releiving letter as 2nd Dec last working day then what problems I may have to face in my background verification? Please help me with a solution. Can this be solved by help of new company HR.

      You will have 1 month of dual employment which is a massive red flag. Assuming these are big companies, no lala company, No corporate will entertain this as dual employment is illegal in india. Your bgv will fail and your next company will hv to ask you to leave.
      Solution: ask your new HR to give in writing that they will buy out notice period. Then chk your current companies offer letter for terms & conditions and if there is buy out optoin in OL. If there is a buy out option, your current vompany cant hold u if you are paying. Argue smartly.
      Your LWD in ur current company HAS TO BE before DOJ in new company

      ​@@SocialOnion hai mam, i had one doubt. That preciously i worked in small contract company but now I'm working in big organisation. Now moving to New organisation. For background verification i had that small contract company certificate. Whether it will accepted by third party verification or else they will reject my experience certificate??? Please reply me as soon as possible 🙏🙏🙏🙏

      No.. UAN is only for those who have PF whch is mandatory in almost all Indian FTEs

    Formalities while joining a new job in India are ridiculous.
    Also, ask new employer to conduct and complete the Background-Verification process before you resign from current company. Who knows your BGV might fail for any nonsensical reason after you resigned, and now you don't have anything to go back to.

    Hello Mam, Gautam, on this side, my issue is employment overlapping for 18 days... It is a case of 2018, I started my job on 11 Sept 2018 and I have resigned on 22 Nov 2018 however my employer mentioned my exit date in my relieving letter is 15 Dec 2018. So how can I change it...I have also checked my PF contribution history, and there is no payment credited on that duration...However, I already transferred all my amount of PF to my next employer. my issue is related to Background verification in MNCs how to tackle this issue regarding my BGV of overlapping...plz provide me suggestion
