We head out to Myeongdong Seoul for our first episode of Wonderful Adventure Now Korea (aka WANK) and play around while doing some shopping. We challenge each other to a Bbopki (or however you spell it) challenge, find some pictures to pose with, and meet some nice people.

Eat Your Kimchi Thanks! I'm excited to go, though a little worried considering I look very Korean (though I'm only half) and don't really speak the language well. Haha I'm picking up on how to order food from you guys too! Just wondering what you guys think about a 19 year old female college solo traveling to Korea. I'm going to be with a friends some times, but how safe/easy is it to just wander around the city? (My mom worries I'm going to be kidnapped and have my organs sold on the black market or something). I'm also considering using 9flats.com to rent a private flat because I don't want my parents to spend a lot of money sending me to a chain hotel my mom deems "safer."

Wow. This was posted when I had completed my first semester of college and had gone to my first convention outside of NY state, Anime USA 2011. Zenkaicon 2014 is the last convention I went to, and my favorite con overall in my memory; seeing you guys out and about in Korea and Japan makes me want to go out to cons again, whether solo or with a group.

@THeLittLeFrame I think it's called Naughty kitty or 못된 고양이(I'm not sure it's ben a while since I bought mine) the place is kinda small and hidden so you have to really look. But kpop socks are kinda EVERYwhere so you can probably find them in any street vendor or accessory shops. :)

You guys should show more of Myeongdong, like go walk around the area, point out hot spots, etc. because I've heard a lot about the place but don't know much about it.
if u go to myungdong again this year u can visit my uncle's bakery. its actually part of a chain (which he DID NOT create) and its called paris baguette (pronounced the way u would pronounce "fly bucket" in korean). never been to my uncle's bakery cause i live in canada.

I LOVE myeongdong its the best place to go when you just want to walk around and look at stuff + the clothes in some places are really cheap xD... i miss korean so much!!! i remember seeing the jang geun seuk cut out xD i wanted to take a picture with it but its hard trying to selka with a cut out -_-... i want to go to etude house now -_- ...
