In this shoot Jason used the Rotolight Aeos with the Sony A9 using the 50mm Sony Zeiss and 70-200mm G Master lenses. The modifier was the Westcott Illuminator 2 stop diffuser.

Jason could you test for a section of the Sony 18-105mm G lens or if you have experience with that lens.

Jason, awesome shoot :-) About the new Aeos, how many watt sec. is the flash part of it? Are you using post processing effects in LR or PS because the video part is so dang sharp and I notices that the stills do not look as sharp. Thank's man. Are you ever going to come near Dothan, Al. in the next few years?

would like to know the ISO these was shot at. It seem the ISO is not as good as the A7SII can push out. Unless all that grain was from post edit.
TH-cam compression as nothing to do with High ISO grain on the photos he showed fingering the Video was cleaner than the photos.
I noticed the low ISO noise as well. I wonder if this was due to a grungy editing style.
Chris Barr I saw towards the end at minute 10:46 50mm 1.4 iso 3200 1/80. Hope that helps.
Hi Jason you really make it look amazing and really make the model comfortable so much respect to you man awesome work you can really see the passion it in your shots! treat people how you would like to be treated! It shows in all of your work so much respect to you! I have a cannon 80D I know you don't work with cannons that much was just wondering if I should buy a 50mm is it essential to have I love the look it gives. really do not want to buy a cheap one though I'm from the UK have a bit of money to spend on a lens! Do you recommend the 50mm?

D Mac haha you're right! does it matter if you have a cheap glass or a more expensive glass i know it all comes down to personal preference I get that! Was just wondering if you it's a lens we all should have thanks for the comment appreciate that!.
Dion... the Canon 50mm F1.8 it about £100 in UK & yes you should get it... you'll get some good shots with it ..shoot wide open at F1.8 & you'll gret nice blur (bokeh) background
Gilbert thank you I've seen a couple of people with 50mm I've asked them about the quality but they haven't got a clue! Is there a big difference in cheap vs expensive 50mm apart from quality and size I suppose it would make a big difference more money better lens better glass! Thanks again Gilbert definitely will be looking at some online tonight.
Buy the nicest one you can live with paying for and enjoy! You won't regret it.

Any chance the Rotolight AEOS is--or could be with a firmware update--made compatible with the Sony Radio Commander FA-WRC1M / FA-WRR1M Receiver, so it could be used in TTL / HSS modes off-camera? I already own the Sony radio gear...

Cut the crap. Sony or no Sony you are gifted. Lessons or no lessons. Either you have or not. If somebody thinks that through lessons will reach you or someone else is a lost person. If he or she has potentials then there might be a chance. But believe me if he or she doesn't know that already we are talking about a chance in a million to find through lessons the uncut diamond and you future rival. Good luck to that. Just a poor guy with a Nikon D5500.
