    In the 2600-2800 dollar range, look for 2 bdrms in the winter months of Jan-Feb and in slightly older buildings and you will probably find some good examples. Consider sharing with someone you know, but NOT with a good friend. That is the best way to destroy long-lasting friendships as you end up finding out things about each other in their private lives that you never knew before 😱😱😱😈
    Yet sharing a good-sized apt with someone familiar, (who you know is responsible and considerate) is a great way to be able to afford a really great place to live. JMO

    I have closets in my house that are larger than that whole apartment. My shower alone is bigger than the main part. I'm so bloody rich!

    The size of the toilet can be difficult, and it is interesting that one a 1 bedroom plus den is nice for a home office, then the bed is in the bedroom

      Having a function den is really nice

    No protection from future high rent increases if the building has been completed after November 2018. Not protected under the annual Ontario Rent Increase guideline There have been many horror stories about high increases, hundreds of dollars or more, 12 months later with these buildings. The Canadian Home App is great.

    The amenities on the last one are insane though. It looks like it’s part of the superclub community.

    Are you sure those "Queen" size beds would fit without coming very close to a wall? The advertised "den" I once saw was just a hole in the wall. Count the number of elevators and ask tenants if possible to tell their average wait times. Maybe consider an older apartment where you can swing a cat without hitting anything.

      Loool ik these apartments are pretty small for the price. I found a great spot tho. Thanks for the advice!

    I find this video very informative and appreciate your thorough explanation.
    I plan to move to Toronto, Canada with my family, which includes 2 adults and a 7-year-old child. I am looking to rent a house, preferably a condo in a gated community with nearby schools, grocery stores, and public transport. My budget is within $2,000.
    As I will be new to the country, I don't have a specific area in mind, but I prefer not to live in a secluded area. It would be ideal if the school has a high rating and the neighborhood has a strong Indian community presence.
    Can you please help me with this?

      Haha I know! The rental prices need to come down asap. I use realtor.ca and The Canadian Home (check the link in my description). Good luck on your search.

    I wouldn’t rent anything in a newer building ! you will get screwed by landlords who suddently increase your rent by an astronomical amount .

    The rent includes all utilities?

    • @ennvisionn
      @ennvisionn  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, it would include water and heating. Tenants mostly only pay for electricity.
