I was born and raised in Texas, but have spent the last 53 years in California. I can’t even describe how much I love this beautiful place. Thanks for the numerous paintings you have dedicated to this special spot. Love bluebonnets but poppy’s have won my heart.
I always enjoy all of your tutorials. They are so inspiring and such beautiful colors. You make it look so effortless. I enjoyed seeing the interpretation of your acrylic painting and definitely would like to see more. Thank you Ellen for your gift.
The mixed media is lovely! I love learning about uses for these supplies! You explain everything so well! This is another of your wonderful videos! Thank you so much.
I love it! I love everything about it…the sky, water and flowers. Mixing watercolor and gouache in a painting makes the painting. I’d love to see more like this. Thank you so much for sharing your interpretation of your acrylic painting. This is going on my to paint list!!👍
Love it! I like mixing watercolor with gouache - you do it so beautifully. One of the reasons I like your channel(s) and Patreon is that you vary your medium, subjects and style but I can usually tell a painting is yours. Thank you!!
You picked just the right painting. I really liked the ocean acrylic, and love this watercolour and gouache style...since I bought some gouache, and am not used to it yet this was perfect. Ocean paintings are always good, in this one you painted some pretty nifty poppies and sea grass too. Love it. ❤️
Thanks so much, I love this picture ! I've done the acrylic a couple of times, and the watercolor version is really fun. I see you've done a new one in acrylic and look forward to trying that one too. ❤
In one of your tutorials could you talk a little about your evolution as an artist? This painting is lovely, especially the idea of the same painting in different mediums.
Wonderful painting and very informative tutorial. You work so fast compared to me. It was fun to see how the painting evolved. I'll need to repeat this video multiple times!
This is so pretty. I've been in an acrylic painting the past few days. I would love to do this with my watercolors. Thanks so much, very inspiring. Hope you have a great week Ellen.

Very pretty! Thank you! I made the mistake of buying a gouache set a couple of years ago. It dried out and it’s difficult to bring it back to the right consistency.so I guess it would be best to buy tubes in the future.
If it is any help Jan I had the same problem so I sprayed them with a fair amount of water then covered them with cling film and left them for a few days, after that I was able to stir them through with a cocktail stick and it made them creamy again
Take more breaks! I love this but I really enjoyed your mini Monday madness! I’m giving the acrylic a go but I’m going to try this same painting in a mini watercolor! Love your tutorials! 😘
I did enjoy this Ellen. Thank you so much. No vacation planned for the summer but have one booked for October to Disneyland, Florida with our daughter & grandsons. Not looking forward to the flight as I have a phobia of it & haven't flown for 9 years 😫. Thanks again for the lovely tutorial 😊
cocktails help- I hate to fly but will go anywhere I have a couple of glasses of wine before flight = ZERO worries! its all gone- maybe try small relaxer like Ativan etc if you cannot drink.
Loving the gouache demo/tutorials! There don't seem to be many that show a picture bring painted. I am watching all you have 😊

Ellen, this is so beautiful! Thank you for another great tutorial. Do you ever do oil painting videos?
no sorry
Rockwell when in a slump, would draw a man leaning against an old fashioned light pole and continue from there.
You were missed
awe thanks :)
Hello
Had trouble hearing you at the beginning
really might need to turn up volume :)
