A "bargirl" is always better than a "baboy"

How long before you come back to the Philippines? Just recently started watching your videos and now you are returning to Canada. I and my Filipina wife are still in the States ( South Carolina ) and look forward to retiring to part time in the Philippines and part time in the States. Have safe travels! I will miss your travel videos in the Philippines.

Thanks for watching - glad you enjoyed the videos. We will be back in Philippines starting January or February 2025. Between now and then we will post a few videos of adventures in Canada and some throw-back videos of past trips in Philippines. Wishing you the best of times on your Philippine travels!

I'm not sure pourus plastic bowls are a good hygienic choice for long term restaurant usage.

You are probably right. Cristina and I have a few eatery strategies when on the road going from town to town. We generally eat where the locals eat. And we generally don't eat in an empty place. I figure those two strategies were a big part of keeping us both healthy over several months of in travel the Philippines - without fail.

Scratches in plastic dinnerware are not the easiest to sanitize in lukewarm water using a substandard dish washing liquid and done by someone trying to hurry.

But the US trained department of health people would shut down every single eating establishment in the Philippines.. What ya gonna do?. Just trust and have some faith maybe.
