Thank you coach, I decided to fulfil a childhood ambition by taking up boxing 3 months ago at the age of 40. Got injured a few weeks ago and while I have been unable to train I watch your videos to ensure I keep learning, mentally preparing for when I can hit the gym again. Fantastic stuff! We’ve done the jab exchange drill at our gym for the youth class but never incorporated double jabs or slips. Will be cool to see how they adapt to those additions. It’s inspiring watching you all demonstrating the drills! Thanks Coach

Coach, how important is head movement? Because when I watch Shakur or Keyshawn Davis or Errol Spence they have amazing defense but they don’t move their head a lot they just take a small step back or parry. Which defense is safer?
Which ever one you can do better. Personally I don’t recommend parrying for newbies. U can learn bad habits and leaves u less confident vs someone faster than u. But can never go wrong with good foundation of head movement.
Hey coach, first, a great video! Very helpful, and I will use this method to train my boxers before they start sparing. Second, what size of training gloves do you recommend for this kind of workout? Should They go regular size of training gloves or take one size up? Like, from 14oz on the mitts and heavy bag to 16oz on these drills and sparing? What is your opinion on this?
