I like what Robin Williams said in Aladdin “Be yourself”. IMO, If you're dealing from the bottom of the deck or being someone you ain't, then in time things will eventually fall apart at the seams. Finding someone isn’t easy, you have to be patient. Also, try not to make the other person someone they are not; take time to figure them out.

my best approach ever I was at the gym and there was this girl, just my type, doing kettlebell swings. I had tried kettle bell swings a week or two prior and thought it felt awkward, so I actually had something to talk about when I approached her. She showed me how to do them properly. I thanked her and she started asking me about some the of plyometrics drills I do and then the conversation lead to sports we play and some back and forth compliments... I went on date with her later that week.

I can always tell an NLP practitioner. They screw up a lot. They don't pay attention to the responses they're getting.

    • @heartandmindovercome3214
      @heartandmindovercome3214 ปีที่แล้ว +13

Sounds like some pretty mediocre NLP practitioners at best. 😂 Psychotherapists mess up a lot too. The chick (PhD psychologist) I was working with didn't remember half the shit i told her. Also, her questions weren't even that good. I can ask better questions than she did (now).
The most profound positive change I've experienced was when I was self motivated and ready to do so of course, while at the same time working with coaches trained in NLP and hypnosis. Incredible (for me anyway) to say the least.
John Grinder was in the CIA and he uses NLP. Well he did help create NLP. The stuff they're talking about regarding NLP I've never even heard of, nor have I heard any certified trainer even mention whatsoever except for the shock technique, which was really a technique from Milton Erickson and Ericksonian hypnosis; and it's for therapeutic change work, not picking up chicks or in a social setting. (The "out there" stuff, nobody teaches it anymore).
Also, a lot of the techniques he's talking about are literally some of the principles in NLP and Hypnosis (NLP is just fast track hypnosis), just renamed and reframed. For example, Talking about what's going on "right now" in the experience. That's called pacing the experience (or pacing and leading and it builds massive "rapport"). Watching out for "shift changes." That is using your sensory acuity to spot a "change of state."
NLP isn't perfect, and there is a little bit of fluff for sure. But the non-fluff is pretty awesome. Learning and applying the concepts (regarding language especially), and even some of the techniques, in NLP have improved my relationships and my ability to connect with people 10 fold. That being said, The stuff Andrew is talking about is definitely more practical and straight forward for sure. This stuff is 🔥

Thank you to the one who gave a thoughtful and detailed reply sharing your experience and information about NLP and it's uses in responsible hands. I suppose the practitioners I've encountered in the stereotyped situation were the failed students who decided to misuse some techniques to try to get power over me and were obvious and ridiculous, to say nothing of their selfish motives. Perhaps NLP could be valid when used by a responsible practitioner with a genuine therapeutic purpose.
And to the other person whose reply was flat contradiction of my point, in one word...incorrect...know that I'm laughing at you, pointing out your intellectual limitations to all my female friends. Nope, Bope.

i literally dont know how to talk to people but when i drink i do this naturally if the vibe is right. i learned to talk to police officers like this too because the whole i know my rights thing is combative so i started being interested talking about their flashlights and joking around. this is one of the best videos on how to talk to people, it all seems so dumb and obvious but its simply aligning and being aware of the surroundings and the persons characteristics then just commenting on them.. it really is so elementary that a genius like me has been oblivious to it because it seems so stupid and easy.. i dont do any of this. i recoil into a shell and live inside my own head and think about how uncomfortable i am.. but also i have to neg this because that guy is kind of a chad so things like this will come easy.. that alone will get him positive responses whereas someone who isnt very attractive will get disgusted responses.. like when they say she wont even give me the time of day.. hi what time is it? go away freak im calling the police!

Preferably she’s downtown with her friends and you just tell her “that’s not fair.” She will be curious to what you’re talking about and inquire, and then you simply tell her “ these boys got lives live, you can’t be out here looking like that like it’s all nonchalant” or something to that tune

Pardon my skepticism, but I do not think that the Agency will be ok if someone, who were involved in the real ops, would disseminate the Agency’s “internal use only” methods. It looks similar to, for example, if the generals from JCS, would run videos on YT on the current US strategy and tactics. Just curious, if this is some sort of “common knowledge”, as part of what was said can be found even in Carnegie’s books.

I've been to many psychologist, even hired a dating coach. I read the whole internet and watched every video.
Its impossible to have a conversation with women.
There are just way too many men competing for every woman....

And maybe that's the problem, your so focused on the outcome and having a.successful conversation or finding a girlfriend that it causes u to come off as not natural, which girls are pros at noticing. Next time u go out to meet girls still talk to alot of them but go just to have a good time and dont care if u have sucess or not....
Another thing I highly suggest u do is ask one of ur really good friends what they think ur main problem is. And it's a bonus if u have a woman friend u can ask. And tell them to be blunt and honest with u, even if they think it'll hurt ur feelings or sound harsh. Alot of ppl aren't aware when they do certain stuff that comes off as awkward or off-putting.
Last one, force the conversation. Find a gurl ur attracted to, wait til she's alone, walk up to her and say "hey im ___ , im sure this is prob the 10th time you've been told this tonight but u are freakin gorgeous and i know I woulda regretted it if I left and didn't say anything to u and I'd love to get ur number if u dont have a boyfriend"...... say that as casual as u can. I'm nothing special but I've had pretty damn good luck woth women some how and u can approach 100 girls with That paragraph and atleast 4/10 is gonna be a positive response

I've done this countless times. I also been to many psychologists and even hired a dating coach. There is nothing wrong with me they all said, including my friends. I'm short so thats the whole problem. I'm too short to date. I know its ridiculous but Its the truth...

I know very well this thing about being free from outcome. I've done it so many times and i do it still. I do it every single time I go out. It has never helped me.
Sorry if i come off as frustrating but none of those things have helped me with women. They helped me being a bit more social but thats it.. Thanks for trying to give me advice tough..

Best way i built up my confidence with woman was/is strip clubs. For the cost of a few lap dances, i can chat up a beautiful woman that has her breasts out. What to say to make her at ease. What to say to get her laughing. What to say to get her to do things that i want. After years of that, Starbucks is the easiest hit job.

I get what Andrew is saying, but I think he underestimates my inability to come up with good questions based on three talking points, "oh you're wearing a skirt? I love what's under skirts." Yeah sorry man I think I'm beyond even the CIA's help

Haven't even seen the vid but your comment man say this "your wearing a skirt huh cool literally I couldn't do it, wear shorts that is" see easy. Self control over sexual comments replaced with subtle funny hints that show interest is way better than talking about what's under her skirt.

This video had very basic info, tbh
Seems like social capital is a rebrand of small talk
Like girls aren't use to randomly affirming and compliment bombing them
if a guy is not perceived as attractive several comments are just going to be considered creepy and off putting,
And an easy out for most women will be to ask if the guy is a stalker,
Because why are you looking at my bag and making assumptions.
Most guys aren't equipped for that kind of fall out or public spectacle.
This advice would work for trying to make guy friends or same gender friends maybe.

There are aspects of this that I can believe, but at the end of the day it depends on who is applying the technique. If you look like Harvey Weinstein...it's not happening for you.

Harvey Weinstein was very successful for a very long time. He got complacent with his success and got lazy and took it for granted.

Andrew is actually quite a person. Meeting him in person was really impressive. Air Force officer, recruited directly by the CIA, very top notch. If you are truly curious, check out the Fearless Street Course on our events page: www.thefearlessman.com/events/.
He will be there to teach us deeper ways to connect using tools taught to him by the CIA.
