0:50 This part always gets to me. You can tell that Obito still cares for his old friend Kakashi. He doesn't want him to suffer anymore like how he did. Despite how low he dropped. There's still a part in him, were he cares about his old friend.
true, itachi’s words could make us breaking into tears terribly after what he had suffered and undergone an extreme painful past being labeled as a traitor. and madara’s words reflects a tragic reality in this cursed world where human start wars and hurt others in order to achieve peace from their own perspectives subsequenrtly end up seeking vengeance and carrying hatred, like more and more hatred
Obito is one of the greatest anime character..and the development is on whole other level...Idk why but I cried whole night when he shattered into pieces
Everybody making fun of obito for his reasons but think of his situation on a psychological level: You don't have parents, your own relatives shun you out, you get drafted to a war you want no part of, your peers look down on you, and the only guy whos closest you can call a friend is an a-hole. And then, theres this one person who genuinely cares about you that you slowly start to develop feelings for. For once in your life, you finally find a reason to live only to see said person die at the hands of your friend. All of us, myself included, would go insane just as he did if we were in his position.
@Zane Truesdale Ultimately losing does not mean he did not have power. The entire alliance was needed to stop him remember. And without him, the world would have been lost. And i was talking about power behind his *words* . Those are two different things.
@Zane Truesdale Obito became the 10 tails jinchuriki buddy. And his peech right here proved he has power behind his words. Hell, he almost got Naruto to give up once. If you are going to try and troll etc, at leats make sense.
It seems to me that all things that we pursue in this world are inherently weak, and because they are weak, they eventually will break, change or go away. Somewhere in most of us I feel we have the sense it shouldn't be like this, especially the pain and cruelty caused by us. So I like to think I understand why some choose to detach from things that could cause great pain. Ra's Al Ghul a character from "Batman begins" said: "One day you catch yourself wishing the person you loved never existed, so you'd be spared your pain." It makes sense why some would detach themselves in other to be less vulnerable... "We seek pleasure and avoid pain." Was it Freud who said it? Well, what to do when the place where you hope for joy is the same place that will cause you great pain? I myself try to accept the pain and the risk of attachment until my limit defeats my hopes...

"Meanwhile, you have suffered all this time at Rin's grave...and mine as well." Those last lines have such a deep meaning. For Obito himself, the past Obito was dead.
I don't care of it sounds cringey naruto literally taught me everything I know, its what I base my morals on and how I learned to treat people and how I veiw the world
His Nihilism developed from the crushing of his hopes and ideals in the face of the inherent suffering in the world; and it soon thereafter left a hole in a part of himself that should have been filled by the warmth of his comrades. That’s why this is my favorite naruto charachter; he’s as human as it gets.
The way he worded it, "You have suffered all this time", Obito could still feel. He felt remorse and guilt for not being able to do anything for his friend who was in despair.
Yall all kinda dumb... It was Tobi who played as Madara but is actually Obito who said that... He said it when he asked Sasuke about his revenge on the leaf... If yall really watched Naruto then yall would know
Kishimoto created a masterpiece and unlike other anime’s where they go on fun adventures and defeat villains without wanting to solve problems by talking and wanting to know the background naruto does the opposite .i could talk for days about how naruto is the best anime.what kishimoto created is a moral value book for all ages
No Naruto is one of the worst in terms of moral value. This series doesn’t believe in JUSTICE, MORALITY, or the LAW. There is no accountability, because Naruto is delusional in his outlook. That’s dangerous and he’s a naive or narcissistic fool. The Series taught flawed and foolish ideals to it’s fan. You don’t forgive people wholesale when they don’t do anything to actively change, repent, earn it, or once they have done what they wanted. Plain ole forgiveness doesn’t mean shit here. People like Orochimaru and Kabuto should be rotting in prison.
@@sarveshnathan7559 Technically saying thats only because your definition of Moral Value is based off the current society to where Killing is wrong, However if most of society and I'm not talking about just like 50% or 60%, I'm talking about like 95% believed killing other people was normal than the moral value would change making people indifferent to people killing eachother

People who hate on obito for starting a world war for a girl , that is actually understandable why ? If you think of it obito was an orphan and his team was everything he had and think of that theres rin who actually geniunly cared for him and watch out for him , you would ask if he was an orphan why he never mention it ? The reason obito never showed and sadness growing without parents is coz he was meant to be a counterpart to Naruto they both have really high similarities having an optimistic nature and cheerful , but obito went dark due to uchiha curse. So think about it rin and his team were everything he had back in the day
Ob's despair Some people really need to pay attention to his actions instead of focusing too much on what he says. For example some think Obito wants to see Rin again, but he doesn’t. He will never see her again. Obito became the Juubi’s jin and possess the Rinnegan, so he’s immune to the genjutsu and he can’t enter the dream world.
@@dennyden7612 I'll never understand how people could think he wants to see Rin again, regardless of how often she comes up in the War Arc. Do these guys not remember that Edo Tensei exists? If Obito was so desperate to see Rin again, he literally could have made a deal with Kabuto/Orochimaru when they were around. People seem to not realize just how easy it'd be for Obito to actually bring her back. The thing is, he doesn't. At least, not with the way the world is. He probably thinks that the events of the past will replay again and so decided to destroy the very system that put him in hell, to him, to begin with.
rashan141 I blame the anime for the overabundance of Rin flashbacks of the same shit of Obito and Rin setting on a bench lol, that's mostly why people think Rin is the sole reason. In the manga, it was not excessive. And you’re right, if Obito wanted Rin so badly he could have revived her with Edo Tensei, but he doesn't because Rin would just die again by the flaw of the shinobi world.
It’s insane how he killed and manipulated so many people yet I still understand and feel his pain. I can never truly hate Obito. His kindness got him nowhere so he took a different path :((
All Obito wanted was to give everyone happiness and take us far away from this world of suffering, to a place where each and everyone of us can live in true happiness where no one is suffering.
I get what he’s saying, basically he doesn’t believe a world where his friends have to kill each other should even exist , so he’ll create a new one. It’s less to do with his love for rin but his hatred for a world where everyone is just killing each other.
@@uchihasenju7743 Rewatch the series, while obito was stuck in the cave madara was spoon feeding him about how the world itself is nothing more than a living hell. Rin’s death coupled with the fact that no one was there to even comfort him when he was in pain ultimately pushed him into believing in madara’s nihilistic worldview
If you actually watch Naruto without skipping and focus on the characters and thier stories along with their dialogues, it teaches whole lot about world and life. I see world with different prospective now.

I’m gonna teach my kids about this anime, truly one of the greatest most deep wisdom filled show. So many intriguing quotes based off reality today. War, starvation, death, destruction, sorrow, and a sense of serenity when a hero becomes a villain and then is revealed and is shown the light once more. This show is undoubtedly very relatable. And will be one of the greatest shows of all time for future generations to come. To this day I still watch the show like re-reading the Bible, so many different new quotes and experiences I have forgotten about because I binged watched it all. “For there to be Darkness there must always be light” a quote I made up by analyzing every villain. Most of the main villains are confronted with their crimes but most of all their good loving past, a reminder of their past self. A reminder of what it was like to be self-righteous and good. For them to see how far they’ve fallen and to become good once again is one of the greatest moments to witness.
its just crazy how obito had his heart sealed by madara to never betray or abandon the main mission, but this showed that when kakashi hits his heart breaking the jutsu, it means that you can get changed or touched my someone's love, like this case, when kakashi hits him, it represents love breaking the curse in his heart which was the feel of hopeless. amazing.
@sanju15able but for him is it forgivable that what world done to him. You want to blame him for this because you cant forgive obito for what he did and neither he can forgive the world everyone is the same just like eren and Reiner in AOT
@sanju15able who will say him evil the system itself is evil. lets cut the part of madara controlling him why does he think that he has this burden to overcome. Some people say that naruto is just decided hero he is a man of prophecy but we says that what makes him hero is because he never gives up means all that matter is personal thinking so why you are blaming obito for uchiha massacre in which uchihas are the mastermind
@sanju15able and yeah everyone loses their beloved and they take some decisions. Some just accept that and repeat the same and again loses someone. Some try to protect remaining one too hard. Some follow the path of revenge. And some take decision to change the cause. You cant say that that was nothing because every other around you is suffering the same. If you became victim raging then you cant say that yeah it is ok that everyone or neither a girl can say it ok to be rapped because many other are also raped

Obito actually tried to crush the world of shinobi. People often misunderstood his character and hated him for being a simp, when in reality he wanted to end the pain and suffering caused by the shinobi system. Just that he did it in a violent way and wanted to trap people in a dream world.
What I love about naruto series is that no one's really evil ,the surroundings and circumstances has shaped them and when looked from their view point ( expect orochimaru) what they fight for looks fair and the story is so beautiful written and the characters are well built and their pain , happiness ,sorrows can be felt...... It is sadly true what Obito is saying. By trying to built a relationship between someone/-s, you will always take the risk to get hurt and sometimes feeling that pain for a whole life. There are many people being afraid of it and their best solution to that is to avoid that pain. Is that the right path to go though? Humans learn and I am not talking about school, I am talking about the friends and familiy you have, teaching you important things that are necessary for even your future live! Feeling guilt, if you said something wrong to a friend and he is offended by that, bearing your sorrow not only for yourself etc. There are so many things, that would took days to write them all out. But I can understand those people who are scared of that. Losing someone beloved, not just through death, for example if he/she betrayed you too, is just heartbreaking. It almost feels like a weight pushing you down there more you think about that crucial moment. Pain:“(Nagato)once asked Naruto how he will achieve true peace. Naruto wasn‘t sure either and answered his question with a quote, that Nagato himself said years ago, when he was trained by jiraiya. It was enough for nagato to get influenced by that, but not enough for me. In fact, true peace is just a fairy tale, something like that is impossible, because Human seek a way to fight. We have war, even for the dumpest reasons. Unlike the emotions/knowledge we get through friends or familiy, will we experience atrocious feelings and thoughts, questioning our doing, sorrow confusion, agony... Finally at the end of war, there will be great wins, but even greater loses. Nothing/Noone will ever stay the same after war, because its an unforgettable event chasing us the rest of our lives...
Long-Tailed Charmander I mean Obito was an orphan and never knew the love of a mother and father. His own clan didn’t want anything to do with him, and viewed him as a black sheep. He goes to war as child and almost dies, he spends less than a year in a cave and the only thing keeping him sane are his comrades, but mostly Rin. And when he finally gets out, the first thing he see is the the only person that took care of him when on one else did, died by someone who just recently became his friend.
Long-Tailed Charmander If Obito live somehow, I’m willing to bet Naruto wouldn’t allow Obito to die because he allowed Konan to live and let her go, he also allowed Orochimaru, and Kabuto to live. The justice system in the show is very lenient for some reason.
Long-Tailed Charmander Well, that Naruto’s character, he’s just a very forgiving guy. He forgave Nagato, Konan, and Obito. It’s little ridiculous, but not too surprising.

People like Orochimaru and Kabuto should be rotting in prison.

So think about it rin and his team were everything he had back in the day
Obito didn’t start a war over Rin, she was just the push or trigger. In ep.371 Obito states he started the war to end the shinobi system.
U are right but wrong in one thing: Obito is so much more complex than Naruto.
Ob's despair
Some people really need to pay attention to his actions instead of focusing too much on what he says.

Naruto Dub is one of the best ever. It feels like the VAs gave use everything they had to make this series has emotional as possible. Thank you for making one of the greatest anime ever
i wouldnt judge him for what he did
The voice actor actually did a very awesome job! I felt the anger and the hint of pain. This is Obito.
A smile doesn’t always mean a person is happy, sometimes it just means they are strong enough to face their problems
Naruto not only gave us amazing memories, but taught us life lessons as well. What an amazing anime
That boy went through alot
Long-Tailed Charmander
I mean Obito was an orphan and never knew the love of a mother and father.
@Long-Tailed Charmander watch naruto first
Long-Tailed Charmander
The man is dead
Long-Tailed Charmander
If Obito live somehow, I’m willing to bet Naruto wouldn’t allow Obito to die because he allowed Konan to live and let her go, he also allowed Orochimaru, and Kabuto to live. The justice system in the show is very lenient for some reason.
Long-Tailed Charmander
Well, that Naruto’s character, he’s just a very forgiving guy. He forgave Nagato, Konan, and Obito. It’s little ridiculous, but not too surprising.
-They broke my heart and call me heartless
