    Learning how to organize the webbing with a simple overhand or half hitch is probably something every man should do when rigging to organize that tangled mess.

    Shockstraps are by far the best straps never come loose.

    I bought a set of wheel bonnets & really like them. Seems to hold the Rmax tighter to the trailer & because it has locked hooks on both ends I know it can’t become unhooked. Big thing is the shocks can bounce all they want to keep my suspension on the rig all it wants.

    Just throwing this out....
    I can't use my left hand due to a stroke. The best option for me is this
    Cargo Buckles
    The model I have is submerged in a bucket in the trailer deck. It is flat so I can step on it and not trip and fall. They make other models for universal tie down anchor points. They can't get slack as they self tighten.
    Didn't mean to hijack your video. I can tie down or release in seconds with only my right hand. 🤗🛐
    Thank you for sharing.

    Nice. I installed 4 of these on my trailer for my P500 last week. I can’t believe how fast I can load or unload effortlessly. Wish I got em sooner. I don’t know if they make covers for them but I used 4 large ziplock with rubber bands and they cover entire piece/strap until I locate a better option for longer term when trailer is not being used as mine are ones that are bolted directly to trailer frame.

    For some people the difference between $10 and $60 each is a deal breaker, especially when the ones for $10 are 27 feet long instead of 20 feet. Therefore the need to buy more if you need the long ones.

    how do you compare with rhino

  • @OntarioBearHunter
    @OntarioBearHunter ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The weight rating is waayy more than the R Max needs.. you'd technically only need a rating around 800 lbs per to strap it down.

    • @AppalachianMountainRiders
      @AppalachianMountainRiders  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Very true! Pa law requires a strap on all four corners so that reduces the amount of load place on each individual strap!

      @@AppalachianMountainRiders most places require that.. even if it's not written..there's always a " safe and secure load" clause that has no definition.

      Tire bonnets won’t work for me cause I trailer too many different size machines of various widths for my business. Everything from SxS’s to lawnmowers and go karts…lol.

    Over 4-7 years, the ratcheting mechanism will fill will debris and won't retract the straps as another TH-camr desmonstrated on his straps.
