Good find on those M16 magazines! Those look like they have the aluminum followers in them, which would certainly place them in the Vietnam era. Decent price too, they are running $45 and up here in the states.

Wow! I thought they’d be cheaper in the U.S- Makes a change as Vietnam era stuff is pricey over hear.

@@milpopo I think they're more expensive here since there has been a huge increase in people wanting to make "retro" AR-15s and most are looking for accuracy. Plus Colt tends to be revered here. New 30rd Colt manufactured magazines are $40 and there is really nothing special about them. I was lucky enough to have bought a new old stock Colt M16A1 barrelled upper receiver for $350 at a show 10 years ago and a Nodak Spud Retro lower reciever in the same finish as the original Colt M16 about 10 years ago before the whole retro craze took off like it has.

Did any of the traders get funny about you filming/taking photos of the weapons etc??

@@classicreviews96180 No, not at all… if they’re all above board and legal why would they? 😊

@@milpopo I had a bad experience recently when I was taking photos of an event and a couple guys at a weapons stall got really funny about me taking pictures and moaned.
I've asked about, and a lot of people have said that traders can be funny buggers, with one of the reasons being they don't want products being duplicated etc.
Anyway after seeing your video I'm not gonna worry so much about getting moaned at for photos, at the end of the day it's a public event and if they're legal, what's the problem.

      Did you ask before filming??

@@classicreviews96180 that’s disappointing but not a surprise… I don’t know why people get so defensive… they allow thousands of people to walk past and look at their trade stands but get grumpy when you record a video that hundreds of people will watch! The difference is negligible!

@@classicreviews96180 I look at the T&C’s of entry… if it says no filming I don’t. If it doesn’t say anything I assume it’s okay.
