About OFF GRID with DOUG and STACY:
We moved to our 11 acres in 2011 from a large city in the Midwest with zero carpentry and farming skills. We live with no solar / wind power / public water or well. We share our adventure to a sustainable life, growing our own food from vegetables to meat. We post videos DAILY and they range from HOW TO to EVERYDAY LIFE and NUTRITION on the off grid homestead. We were city folks just like you probably and wanted to enjoy life and have more control over our food. We share food recipes as well as natural remedies.

FYI white vinegar works great in the final rinse when washing clothes. It softens the clothes and removes excess soap suds from the fabric just in case you overused in the wash cycle

For those that don't enjoy the smell of ACV, try adding some essential oils to your ACV soak, such as tea tree oil, frankincense or lavender. All of which have antibacterial & antifungal properties.

Hi from New Zealand.. ACV is a must in my home..also we have a dog and I have been spraying his coat up to x2-3 times weekly for about 3 years now with half water and half ACV spray bottle, and he hasn't needed any vet bought flea treatment at all in that time.. It also helped if he started that "doggie smell"..ACV spray takes the smell away in about 10 mins from spraying him...
Am having issues with my feet and hadn't thought of that , ( will def look at starting the soak) I read online were a woman oin states shared her hubby was having fungus issues on feet, she soaked organic corn/maize flour in water , left it for about an hour then got hubby to soak his feet for about 20 mins, the flour thickens up with the "wild yeast" and the yeast seems to feed on the feet bugs..... I have been doing that also but not regularly, I did some research on the Corn flour and vitamin A
"Yellow corn contains three carotenoids: alpha-carotene, beta-carotene
and beta-cryptoxanthin. All three are provitamin A carotenoids, which
means they're converted into retinol. This form of vitamin A is
essential for normal vision and a healthy immune system. "
I may start using both per week turnabout , as a comment below made sense to change the program to stop the virus /bug from adapting .. great advise ..
thanks for your video really appreciated..

Great idea and I will try this. I use dishwasher salt in tepid water and soak for about 20-30 mins. You don't need to use a pumice stone, simply rub your feet together and the layers of dead skin fall off, I have never used it for longer than 30 mins as you want some skin left :). I got a 90 yo woman who had thick cracks with huge calluses all over her feet from years of wearing ill-fitting shoes. She was amazed at the results after 3 30 min sessions. She has never had any issues with her feet since.

It will relax any tension you have in your feet especially if you’re on your feet all day while you’re at it, soak your whole body in it it’s good for you. Just make sure you drink plenty of water because it will take the salt out of your body and dehydrate you. You can also as weird as it may sound put Vicks vapor rub on your feet on this help soften your feet then when you’re done, put a pair of socks on preferably overnight and then it will also help keep your sinuses open.

Remove as much of the fungus as possible with toe nail clippers without hurting yourself, then apply the ACV, saturate the nail itself + around the cuticle + under the nail where possible, be patient + vigilant for it will rid your toes of this fungus. Also, try to include a daily dose of a couple teaspoons of ACV mixed in with a beverage, it will rid your body of toxins.

Peroxide is great! ACV too. But be sure to disinfect all your shoes after wearing them til all cleared up. Get some washable shoes like sketchers, put some baking soda in the shoes just before you throw them in the washer, wash them after every use in hot water. For prettier non-washable shoes you can even use hand sanitizer for a quick sanitation. Good luck!!

Hi! Guys!! You are amazing!! I was enjoying your live about using your peels from citrus fruits!! Well... I have a great recipe for you!! Take your orange or lemon peels and cut them to make strips and then you boil them and then strain cause it's bitter after first boil and then do it again and boil again then put in cold water and boiled water again!! Then you. spread them strips on parchement paper and let them dry they will be sticky so refrigerate them and then you melt chocolate of your choice and take a strip and dip half of the strips in chocolate!! It tastes like jujubes!! Try it!! You can add sugar in the last boiling water!!

My left foot in the heel area felt like a sharp object stuck up into my heel and hurt like mad I had to sit down to take the pain away I went to my OLD doctor in his 70's and he said Ray all you have is a tendon problem which sometimes happens in OLD age? He gave me the following exercise to do to each foot every morning sat on the edge of my bed andwith one foot on the floor I crossed my other leg just above my knee cap passed my leg I then grabed my toes area and some of my front foot, I then put pressure on my foot towards my upper knee and then pushed in the opposit direction do this back and forth gently for ten times do the same to your other foot so both get equal exercise, that was ten years ago I am now 81 and never have another pain in my heels or feet, I noticed my hands started to lose some motion (no pain) I just could not move them well and my thumb started locking up towards my four finger and at times I had to grab the thumb and pull it away this occured when I put good presure on a wrench, I started to take all four fingers and bend them slightly towards my wrist and then down slightly now I can bend my fingers about 100 degrees towards my wrist and back passed level and I do the same with my thumb, again I do it to both hands and rarely do I have any trouble with my thumb locking up YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR TO MAKE SURE THESE EXERCISES WOULD BE OK FOR YOU??? I am now 81 and with very few problems of any kind. Good Luck and GOD BLESS...

This is true. I had a podiatrist remove a wart surgically and it required a lot of care post surgery and the scaring isn’t fun either. Apple Cider vinegar is the absolute best remedy and it really works. It takes a while though. Important: The treatment seems to work within a week or two but don’t stop. Keep it up for at least a month (for warts or toe fungus).

Weird right? Well what's even weirder is that I can smell the ACV as soon as you mentioned it! I find that Far Out!

Great video, Doug & Stacy! An acupuncture doctor told me that combining ACV with Epsom salts makes it even better, and I found that to be true. She forgot to tell me that ACV is good for my hair, though. I'm going to try that! Thanks!

Epsom salt is great if you don’t have issues with high BP

You can use one subsequent to another but not at the same time. Like ACV first then epsom salt. ACV is an acid and epsom salt in water is basic. In essence, they cancel each other out. Better to just use them separately such as on different days of the week.

@@Asa-wv1zbNot sure if this is all correct, but you can research it online your find out if it is correct.
Epsom salt is or contains salt. So presumably your skin can soak up some of the salt from Epsom salt. So if a person is avoiding salt because of high BP or other health issues, you may want to find out how much salt vould be absorbed into you body when you use Epsom salt.

Malt vinegar also works great for your feet. Completely cured my toenail fungus in 2 months doing 2 15minute soaks a day. I think any vinegar will do the same because it’s the acidity that does the magic
