- I needed a transport trailer to get my cars (and everything else) to various locations and for our upcoming OG track day.
Jeff from product development and Engineer Vince, from ATC, came out to show the features on this hauler to get me up to speed on its capabilities. I think this is the perfect size for maneuverability that can be used for future functions at OG.

ATC is the way to go for stackers, awesome unit and I hope it serves you well.
Ensure you know what you're getting into towing wise. Short trucks/trailers aren't as stable as longer ones, and having all that extra weight higher up makes these stackers kind of a handful under less than ideal conditions. I'd highly reccomend a 350/3500 (or bigger) dually for this trailer, even though it's not all that heavy. The longer, heavier and wider the truck is, the better it will cope with such a tall trailer with weight high up.
Straps wise, a lot of guys like MACS tie downs.

I wasn’t in the market for thousands of dollars in speakers, but Matt sure makes them look cool. And I *certainly* am not in the market for a six figure trailer to haul six figures worth of cars; but everything OG/Matt recommends is worth a gander. Dang this is dope!
Marketing presentations can be pretty convincing. This isn't much beyond a sales pitch, as cool as it is.
@@utbigpapa Really? Is it a marketing pitch when Matt is grilling them left and right? And asking why this and that is janky? I understand what you are inferring. I consider it less of a sales pitch and more of a 'better have your do-do together if you want in on this crowd'.
@@timkinley1779 Yes, it's a pitch. Anytime you're talking about your products to others, you're marketing/selling even if you think you aren't. It may not be choreographed with Matt, but it's still a pitch from ATC.
That's not to say it was a bad pitch or ATC isn't a great company.

Make sure you get weight distribution WITH sway control. They make it with and without, Im sure Mike knows that.
Get the New GM Trucks with sway control and rear steering too from Chevy, GMC...
@@QuietStormX you get gmc and Chevy if you want the worst truck in the heavy duty truck market. Get a ford or dodge. The f450 is the best looking truck on the market right now and has the best payload capacity.
The best sway bar for safety that distributes the weight is the Equilizer brand sway bars and hitch. I bring the Weight Safe tounge weight scale along for the ride to weigh the tounge first, then engage the sway control system. I also have been looking into a air bag adapter that changes the trailer ball receptacle into an air bag cushion that any hitch would then fit into.
forgot to lock the tongue once and came to first stop down the road and my atc managed to land under the truck without a scratch, they are lucky trailers

Highly recommend a tongue lock from Proven Industries.
Also, if you're running a cord out for a trickle charger you might as well adapt it to the 50a and use the charger that's already built in

Very Nice. Congrats. I was geeking out watching and following along. OK, I would.....On Board Battery Tender (weatherproof external plug), Winch ( in case of having to load a non running car) OG Spec Tie Downs and Ramp Storage. Wheel Chalks, A/C Unit, Bad Boy Exterior Lighting. Geek Stuff.
I would only tow that with a dually, wind is gonna push that everywhere. ..
Nice trailer purchase! Looks great but weird with your pickup truck to trailer size difference. I’m sure l’m not the only one that thinks this lol. Tow vehicle upgrade soon? Also not sure if you maybe already have a Class A motorhome. Or taller truck already lined up for this.
Great choice, I drive past the factory this was made in almost daily! They are built by mostly amish, so you know it'll last forever.
Go FULL OG with this....solar panels, Battle Born lithium iron batteries (several) and Victron invertor/components, etc. It would cost you, but you could set it up to run anything you wanted in that trailer. Looks great, will look better with that new F450 you need to buy Mike. What happened to the Transit ? Is it still on order ?
Now you just need a Totorhome so you can be chauffeured to the mountains. The 250 is not going to last long 😁.
Its a legit trailer. My only gripe is that this short version is just hideous. If it were double the length, it would be perfection. Matt, you need a legit diesel for this thing. And it should be a Duramax :)

@@stevelubs personally i would recommend a 24ft raven single car trailer. You can get them for about 24k. They are great trailers. I have owned two and loved them. Not a better looking trailer anywhere! They are built in Indiana.

Definitely need a f450 for this unit or if you want to be a badass get yourself a sport chassis freightliner. That old 7.3 f250 is not rated to tow that so if you were to get in an accident someone will sue the shit out of you. That big of a bumper pull trailer definitely needs a stout tow rig. Get in a nasty head wind and that 7.3 will make five gallons to the mile. Get in a nasty cross wind and you better hang on for dear life. I would’ve taken a 30’+ gooseneck trailer over this any day of the week just for the aerodynamics of it.
30' gooseneck won't haul two cars. This trailer fits the bill perfectly. I just towed it 80 miles in rain and wind passing and getting passed by semis. The weight distributing hitch makes a huge difference. The truck is rated at a combined 21k lbs and I am below that with this setup. Would a dually be even better, yes but this truck is upgraded from motor to transmission as well as brakes and 1ton springs. It's not unsafe in any way providing you don't over drive it. It's happy at 60-65 mph at 2300rpm.
The customer totally missed asking actual height under the lift is available for tall toys like a pickup truck or 2023 Can Am Defender DPS 6x6 (81"). "I'm 6 and a half feet" equates to 78",. He may well fit but that $22K UTV may have to be left at home while he can fit an ebike...
The new 2023 F250/350 Tremor would be a legit tow vehicle for this thing. The 2023's just got the full digital dash so it doesn't look like a work truck inside, it has the same trailer backup assist from the raptor, and the new 7.3 "godzilla" engine is one of the best engines Ford has ever made.
Also, Carli Suspension just released their new "E-Venture" suspension system for it which gives it adaptive suspension. Mine is ordered.
If your gonna get a 250/350 for the price they are going for right now might as well get the 6.7 powerstroke. Better resale value and just better engine to tow a trailer with.

A few states starting to crack down on people towing trailers with more than 10K weight rating without possession of a Class A CDL. Although this trailer is capable of 14K, I hope there’s a 10K option
With this trailer, an M3 and the GT3RS it will be 13,650. A comfortable weight for 3/4 tons with a diesel.

weight loaded and unloaded? Lots of engines on 45 foot motorcoaches can also handle the weight - but the load on the cooling systems can be ... tricky (without mods).
what does the trailer weight empty? additionally how do you tie the car down?
Being that Porsche GT cars are probably the tallest sports cars can you fit two of them? It looked pretty tight from the video?

I could be wrong or Uncle Matty is a changing, but this will not turn into a rolling billboard. If he debadges his vehicles, these will follow suit. Nothing screams, "whitetrash fancy" like a bunch of racing stickers on a trailer. A big ol', wrap down both sides w/ media contacts on the rear door. Please don't make me eat these words.

How are you going to show a trailer hooked up to a ball hitch without the ball latch secured with a pin?
You’ll probably need some good torque just to pull this thing along enough to overcome wind resistance
My 7.3 is making about 1000 lbft. I came from Ca to Florida 22,000 lbs truck and trailer with this setup.
@@MikeFigueira I’m sure that 7.3 wasn’t happy with that giant parachute behind it. Plus a 7.3 that’s making 1000 lb ft is probably ready to explode.
@@smcox1991 1000lbft for that displacement and with how solid the internals are is not a huge stress on the motor at all. Not to mention I never have to give it full beans towing. Biggest thing with any higher hp diesel is watching the egt up long grades.

I have this same trailer, but when I pull it with 3/4 ton GMC it's all over the road behind me. What has been your experience with the Ford? It's fine behind my 45' RV but will never pull it with the GMC again.
The key is the weight distribution hitch that Mike installed. The 250 tows it really smoothly.
I would trade that lifted single wheel in for a normal dully if towing that trailer any distance. Would not be fun in the wind.
I towed a 26' 15k pound trailer from Ca to Florida with this setup. Zero issues. Drove through a lot of wind in Texas. You need to know how to drive and keep it between the lines, adapting your driving with conditions. It's all about getting there safely and not being in a huge hurry.

I would not be towing that with an F250. Two cars and some wind or an 18 wheeler going by and you’re in trouble. I tow a 28 ft with a 40 ft toterhome and it works well but you still have to be on your game when that big rig comes by. Sucks you right into him.
The weight distributing weigh safe we are putting on should help.

Easier to just back it in...keep the engine towards the tongue of the trailer.
You are right. We needed to do that to get proper tongue weight.
