    You are definitely not keeping anyone to long .
    Love the way you deviate to overcome problems, or colours you don’t happen to like.
    Very very good ❤️

    Awesome paintings I always go to Home Depot and buy all their clearance paints that are 8oz paint samples that are marked down to $0.50 and quarts and gallons for $2.00 and I found a gallon of oil polyurethane Gloss for $3.00 so I’m praying it works as a varnish!

    When using latex house paint can you use just water to thin them out? Or do I have to use a medium?

      It is better to use a medium. My experience is that when I only used water, the finished pour cracked when it dried. The reason is that latex paints do not have as much pigment as the acrylic ones because they are created for walls, so when we use only water, we dilute them even further. Hope this helps.

      @@pattyaap7345 thank you for replying, I tried my first pour on drywall today, did a tilt dirty pour with white purple red & grey Elmer's glue and water no silicone turned out pretty good for my first attempt at this, probably 24" x 24"

    Do get cells with latex paint, is there anything else besides a butane lighter that you recommend?

      Thank you. I saw the hair dryer at the end.

      You can use a thin formula, pour your paint in the canvas, stretch it and then sprinkle the silicone oil on top to form cells without a torch. Hope this helps. Thanks for stopping by.

    Patty, with latex house paints..should you use flat, matte, semi gloss or high gloss?

    • @pattyaap7345
      @pattyaap7345  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! If you want cells, the matte paint works best. Once dried, just varnish it and it will look great!

    • @forageforage3520
      @forageforage3520 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      So.. if you used semi gloss.. you would not get cells? Thank you.

      @@forageforage3520 Yes you will. The paints I used for this video are semi gloss.

      Fiona's Art box thanks Fiona, only a couple of them did because I left them drying outside without support but in my next video I show how to avoid that. Thank you for your support. I love your art!

    People in Latin America can’t get what? The closed caption says float roll but I know that’s not what you’re saying... And I’m not in that area of the world so is the product easier to use?

    • @pattyaap7345
      @pattyaap7345  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Charles, I meant that per my experience at the moment of making this video was that people in Latin or South America have a hard time finding Floatrol, but it is okay because we can use Elmer's Glue and water as a medium.
