The Super Mario Bros. Movie is Illumination’s highest grossing film at $1.362B beating out the MASCOT FILMS Minions at $1.159B and Despicable Me 3 at $1.035B

In defense of the film, the "if she says no, do something else until she says yes" is the strategy the villain uses. Kids are (hopefully) smart enough to make that distinction.

CinemaSins should CinemaSins themselves on how many damn times they misnamed the enemies. Calling boos “ghosts,” piranha plants “muncher,” donut blocks “fall-y blocks,” etc.

We loved this movie and it was one of the few that my nephew actually sat thru, (he's 8). I feel its a great start to more movies if the want. I was simple, bright, and fun. It didn't try and put our world into their, just let them make their own. And I think they saved the Boo and Luigi crossing paths incase they make a Luigi's Mansion lol

To me one of the best Video Game Movies ever made. Its crisp design, the many many (and accurate) references playfully woven in, the soundtrack and different musical themes. As a 32 year old lifelong Nintendo fan this movie was a fun delight.

This movie definitely isn't the best one out there, but oh boy, the nostalgia and all of the small little details were amazing :)
