Asy I did this serving job with a staffing agency in Texas while I was in school. They pay great for someone that is willing to put in the work to stack up their money. Your feet will just be on fire at the end of the events.
We did so many big events. Saw Hillary Clinton, George Clooney, Joe Biden etc. million dollars events even weddings. I picked as many shifts as I could before I moved to Atlanta. It was hard work but if you’re able to be diligent your supervisors will even pick you for more shifts.

I got the certificate last week and I got my Food Level Certification Level 1 Certificate last week as well. I can’t wait to meet you someday. You’re so relatable! Love you Mama. Having your first Aid certificate from Nigeria is a benefit but you definitely need to be Canadian-certified to be eligible.

IRCC will conduct category-based draws based on occupation or French language proficiency. IRCC announced 82 prioritized occupations in 2023 for ITA (invitation to apply):
1) French Language Proficiency (TEF Canada; 7 to pass)
2) Health - 35 occupations
3) STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math) - 24 occupations
4) Trade - 10 occupations
5) Transport - 10 occupations
6) Agriculature & Agri-food - 3 occupations
If you work in one of 82 occupations, your have easy PR, making high CRS score and age less relevant. You need 6 months of Canadian (or aboard) experience to qualify instead of 1 year. If you are not working in these occupations, then you have to rely on high CRS score or PNP for ITA. It is expected that minimum CRS scores will go up as seats are diverted to prioritized occupations. There is no guarantee that the occupations list will remain the same when you graduate in a few years. In this regard, Canada is becoming like Australia.
