    Thank you tife and Chisom. This video was really needed and inspirational. Please can you share a view about life really in Canada as to your comments that people are suffering. I have lived in Russia for 8years. Studied here and planning to move to Canada thru Pgd but I’m scared of starting over again in a new country as I know it’s really not easy. You have to put blood and sweat. I know I don’t wanna settle here in Russia, although with where I’m now, I’m comfortable but I want more. You Having lived in Ukraine(I know it’s similar to Russia), would you advise I take the leap of faith and relocate?

    • @SommyCharles
      @SommyCharles  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Definitely take that leap of faith. From living in Ukraine to living here in Canada, I can tell you that the lifestyle is very different. Quite alright, Ukraine was more affordable but at what cost? Lack of jobs, lack of future prospects, language barrier, etc. Take that leap of faith 🫶🏽✨ But come ready. Save up, plan the route you would like to use to come over here and you’ll be fine. The reason people are suffering is because they had the wrong expectations. Know that it won’t be easy and come with as much funds as you can to set yourself up. All the best ❤️

    I want to come and work in BC during summer

    • @SommyCharles
      @SommyCharles  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s not a bad idea but make sure you think it through to be sure it’s the best decision for you. Will you be paying rent in bc and in your province? Are you getting a job before your arrival?
      Just make sure it’ll make sense in the long run for you.

    Great content you've got here. Thanks so much for sharing this vital info. Does it matter what course you're studying or are you free to work anywhere irrespective of what you're studying?

      You’re free to work anyway irrespective of your program of choice.

    I like the advice 'zero your mind'...you will work, you will get paid, and this will continue until you leave or drop dead..the system is same as the plantations of old. Kudos to the young lady.

      @SommyCharles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      She didn’t mean till you drop dead. It’s till you achieve your goal. Like she said, she had a 20k goal but luckily she was able to get 24k so after that she slowed down with work.
      A healthy balance is always advisable, don’t work till you drop dead biko.

    Sommy you advised against minimum wage.... What hourly rate should one aim for and what other sector apart from mental or social care.
