2 sided entry door gasket

Our original entry door gasket was glued to the door itself hitting the door jam sealing surface.
I single sided gasket doesn’t work as well as a 2 sided gasket in our application.

Different years treated the latch differently. You should be able to run the bulb trim seal around it. Good luck

There is a molded area around the latch on the factory gasket, no worries about that?
