Thank you. I love Pocahontas County and I hope to be back in the near future. Thanks for watching and commenting. I love to hear from people who have connections to the areas I visit.
I am from Pocahontas County. So much history there. The Mill Point mill was an old griss mill that was a booming place many years ago. It is still owned by the same family..the McNeils. It has been a work in progress keeping it restored. It is an amazing building. The Historical Society is helping to keep it in it's glory. Other wonderful places up there is..Cranberry Glades, Hills Creek Falls, Scenic Highway, Watoga State Park, LocustCreek Covered Bridge, the history of the music there..it is a beautiful and amazing place. I miss home.
Thank you for the information on the mill. I love traveling to Pocahontas County. There is so much to do there. At some point I plan on doing another video on the county of some of the places you mentioned.
Great Greenbrier River Race 3 mile run 4 mile canoe/kayak 10 mile bike 17 total. Good Pocahontas County trip Cass Scenic Railroad and Green Bank Observatory. Enjoy your videos
Thank you. I appreciate the information on the river race. Thanks for the tips. I want to get back to Cass and Green Bank. I just watched your Green Bank video and enjoyed it. Definitely looking forward to getting back to Pocahontas County.
Didn't appear to have much knowledge of the places that were featured. Mispronounced Marlinton. Spot on for the Wendy's Baconator. Might win the iron man contest if were for the amount of iron in your blood system after eating Baconators. With all due respect for a person of higher education, cute video but not very informative.
I do apologize for the mispronunciation of Marlinton. I realized it after the video was up. I knew better but still said it wrong. I like the baconator comment. This was my second video ever and if I had to do it again I would add more background on what I showed. A couple places I was seeing for the first time such as the old mill.
Amazing video great job
