    With our Wrangler 4xe getting turned in we had to get something new to replace it and with the big incentives on leftover 2023 Gladiators to get them gone, I couldnt resist giving the Gladiator a try! This Mojave is a baseic model with the only option being an automatic transmission and a MSRP a little over $57k. We ended up getting around $14k off the sticker with rebates, inventives and employee discount making this deal too good to pass up.
    This will also be a great addition to the channel to be able to customize it and make it the way we want it, while also filming it all for you guys!
    Enjoy!
    Stay tuned for answers to this and more!

    The Mojave has an inch lift compared to the Rubicon. Nice truck. I just picked up a white 2023 White Mojave 3 weeks ago. Loving it!

      Yep that was another reason I wanted the Mojave because I figured it would fit the 37s no problem. The 4xe rubicon JL is also an inch taller than a regular rubicon and it fits 37s no issue so I fired the Mojave would as well and it didn’t disappoint :)

    did you trade in your prior 4xe ? I have a 22 4xe leased that i am considering trading in for a gladiator as well. great video.

    • @PeakPerformanceEngineering

      Yes our lease ended on our 2021 4xe and didn’t make sense to purchase it, and didn’t make sense to lease a new one with how expensive they are now, so decided to just buy a gladiator since they have all the rebates and reductions on the 23 model years.

    Great video. I been running 35 inch KO2s stock wheels and suspension on my 2022 Mojave. Was undecided on going to 37s , but now I'm going to go for it. Quick question. Are you still getting into 8th gear regularly

    • @PeakPerformanceEngineering

      Def would do it, they look awesome on here! Really happy with them so far. Yes, it does get into 8th gear just fine once cruising above 40/50 I’d say. Just did a long 3 hour trip home yesterday and all was good. I have 1100 miles in the odometer, but the truck is showing an average mpg of 15mpg. That’s without the Speedo corrected, so should be a bit higher than this in reality.

      Yep, 7k miles no issues :)
      Our 22 rubicon 4xe also sits as high as a Mojave and has had 37s since day 1 and has 26k miles on it now.

      @@PeakPerformanceEngineering nice! I'm a 20+ year Toyota truck and SUV guy and really, really considering my first Jeep to be a Gladiator Mojave, mostly due to its overbuilt frame and suspension 🤔

      There should be a lot of good deals for left over 2024s too. Stellantis just announced they are reducing 200k vehicles from inventory by year end so that means slashing pricing!
      Mine is a leftover 23 I bought about 6 months ago and I got almost $15k off msrp.

    I’m in Michigan too! And I looked at a white soft top just like that a month ago, they couldn’t get the deal low enough- Randy wise had a loaded Mojave that they came down almost 20k on- no brainer. I’ll be following your builds- I’m hesitant to go 37s still on the stock size doing my homework.

      Nice! The 37s are awesome! 1500 miles on it so far and our 22 4xe Rubicon has had 37s on stock wheels/no lift for 22k miles and two years.

    Which tire dealers take the take-off's? I've tried belle and discount in indiana and they won't do that. Any suggestions?

    • @PeakPerformanceEngineering

      I’ve always used my local belle tire here in white lake Michigan.
      Probably best to try and call around your local tire stores and see if any are willing.

      What year wrangler and trim do you have? Compared with our two 4xe rubicons it’s really similar. I switch between them all the time and can hardly tell a difference except for the power delta and the different color interior.

    • @PeakPerformanceEngineering

      Nice! Our two wranglers are Rubicon 4xes, so for this gladiator it was between the rubicon and the Mojave. I like the red accents on the Rubi better, but I do love the 392 hood on the gladiator and that it still it’s a little taller

      Nice! I would have take a rubicon as well, but since we’ve already had 2 JL Rubicons I’m glad we got to sample the Mojave. The orange accents are finally growing on me too! Enjoy!

      Nice! I’m just missing the power of the 4xe! Otherwise I love the utility of the gladiator

    • @Bagel_Biscuit

      @PeakPerformanceEngineering Were you able to get a decent trade in, I do know they are having a hard time getting rid of new 4XE across the entire jeep lineup. Yes, my high tide had more pep off the line with the ETorque set up.

    • @PeakPerformanceEngineering

      @Bagel_Biscuit my 4xe was a lease, so we just turned it in and bought the gladiator outright.
      But the buy price on the 4xe was $40k and we could buy similar vehicles some with less miles for $35-38k so it didn’t make sense to buy it. And for about that same price as a used 4xe we were able to get this gladiator brand new, so decided that was a better route

    • @Bagel_Biscuit

      @PeakPerformanceEngineering same here, I got 47k for my hightide and got the willlys for 42k. My high tide was a lease had it less than a year...

    Did you replace your spare tire with the 37" as well?

    • @PeakPerformanceEngineering

      Nope, figured in the off chance I ever lost a tire I’d try the stock 33” spare. Not sure the 37” would fit either?
      I’m also cheap and figured since you can’t see the 5th wheel/tire like you can on the wranglers I’m only replacing the 4 lol.

    • @husker_nation

      @@PeakPerformanceEngineering I'm sure you're aware of what can happen to your vehicle if you have to replace that while off-roading. I'd recommend getting that replacement soon or whenever you can save up for that.

    • @PeakPerformanceEngineering

      @husker_nation this won’t see a lot of hardcore off-roading. We have the wrangler still if we want to do that. Most this will see are just some mostly flat sand trails at our place up north.

  • @chrisr6749

    Would you wait for a 2025 4xe gladiator, or pick up a 2024 in a few months for a reduced price? I really like the idea of these things, just not sure if the extra power in the 4xe would be worth it 🤔

    • @PeakPerformanceEngineering

      Depends on the deal. When the 4xe comes out there likely won’t be any incentives except for the $7500 federal tax credit which is pretty awesome, but compared to the 23s like mine that were $14k off and I’ve heard of guys even getting as much as $20k off msrp for more expensive trucks.
      But if a 2024 wasn’t discounted much over a 25 4xe I’d go 4xe all day. That extra power is amazing. I can chirp all 4 37s when breake torque it in our 4xe Rubi wrangler.
