I really love the final scene. Ai hugs her kids one final time, before fading away, back into memory. She hugs her kids, knowing that even if it was just once, she was finally able to say those words she always wanted to say, knowing that it was no lie this time.
That one scene,was the only scene i could truly see ai,for the very first time,as their mother. The words she spoke before her death and her wishes were at least for once,full of honesty and love and motherly feelings- i still can't get the picture of ai's star fading out of mind ong,it's so beautiful to the point it hurts.. :p
The translated lyrics, especially at 1:19 - 1:24, really work well! It's not easy to capture the original meaning, and have the syllables line up with the rhythm, AND consistently make lines rhyme with each other. Great work!

@@Nicki_Gee actually not just this song but covers for any anime song in general I don't think they keep the honorifics (just like in actual official dub of anime) If you can think of any exceptions like yours then please lemme know. Can't think of many anime songs that have honorifics though. 1 I think of is haruhi suzumiya season 1 unmei-sama. That's about it.
