Happy 100th video! This one was really amazing, especially when combined with the previous video. Now I feel like hoarding old batteries and building a massive powerbank out of the good ones. :D
After assembling this circuit I have seen that there are failures, one of the resistors has no connection on the PCB, the plates that measure the capacity remain raised, and the voltage input holes are very large and do not enter any type of connector, the positive and negative terminals of the plates are inverted and you have to cross them and that makes the plates not settle well, the PCB is very nice but not very practical
Can you help me, make a pcb design, what program do you use ...? could you please tell me. thank you... your idea is very brilliant, I am very impressed with your work
I cannot figure out what components you used in this, even by looking on jlcpcb after uploading your Gerber files. What am I missing? Is there a components lost anywhere in the files?
That 12v pack you are designing would it be suitable to being a smaller size for something portable? The Intel NUC for instance can run from 12-19v and it would be great to have a option using around 6 18650 cells to keep a NUC powered up.
hello, it's me again I just received the jlcpcb plates, why not solder the 4 pins of the module from the back, is it possible? I think it looks easy to do but in reality you have to be very good at soldering everything together, I also think soldering the wires under the zb2l3 board crossing each other makes it very difficult I think it's a design error I have to find another solution Thank you
Can you get me a parts list and how do I do the gerber files I've ordered boards but from pcbway and it was someone else's project can you help me with that please
Congratulations! Two questions, please: I think this can charge and discharge the batteries... right? and if you use it for charging, what happens when the battery is charged... does it keeps the charge...? thanks
I'm pretty sure he is using a ZB2L3 for the discharging. If so they can not charge battery's only discharge to a set voltage and record the mAh. For charging you would need something like a TP4056.
Just to add.. If you are serious about the capacity measurement for some huge project, don't go for TP4056. They don't fully charge battery to 4.2V as there is some deviation from module to module. Or use only selected ones which can charge fully up to 4.2V.
This is a nice build. Could you kindly share a link to the discharging board you used for say Aliexpress? Happy 100th video and keep up the good work. TH-cam isn't very easy to keep up with.
What's the name of that little blue module doing the testing? A little single cell tester version would be useful to me (since I only have a handful of them).

Thanks for your amazing comment.
Yes, start salvaging those 18650's
great project ! just like this you could source an entire E-bike in one swoop ! this is 🔥 !
Thanks 👍
@@MakerMan just received PCB's and modules close to be ready to build but im asking myself wath do you put on P5 6 7 and 8 ?
I just got all the parts and pcb's and what goes in the P5,P6,P7 and P8 areas? I did not see you solder anything there in the video.
do you have a full parts list on this
Nice, I finally found a great video. Going to do this build... once I can afford 40 ZB2L3s.
Thanks buddy.
Sir g 4 cell testr kirnay ka dain gay ap?
pcb substrate v9 input v8 output?Does v8 and v8 make a short?
I don't understand the position of the fan... the wind goes through the wiring towards the resistors???
Awesome!
Thanks pal.
I love your videos. You my teacher in 18650.
sir may i know whereto buy that? charging and capacity tester?
Hi,
Is there a way to get a parts list and where to buy the parts?
Thanks
I know this is old but what software was used to make the circuit?
Easyeda
good morning
at 1:50 what size wire?
thank you

It worked for me fine. Please check your connection again.
I tested more than 1000+ cells now and still going.
Can you help me,
make a pcb design, what program do you use ...?
could you please tell me.
thank you...
your idea is very brilliant,
I am very impressed with your work
Awesome project
No you are awesome for saying that!
hello can you provide link for the exact board ?
Is there a BOM file? Can't find it.
Amazing ! Thank you. Looks simple Enough. Even I could do it xD
Thanks. Yes u can

Disculpe por no escribir en ingles, Como puedo ordenar 5 módulos de esos. Thanks My friend. Costa Rica🇨🇷
Do you have the "18650 Capacity Tester" boards for sale? Seems a bit intimidating to order from JLCB
Please email me
I am not seeing your email address..

Yes that would work nice
Maker man rockz on
:)
Thank for your sharing. Can I use power supply (Input 220VAC, OUTPUT 5V, 150W). I plan to design 20 cell tester instantly.
Yes, it is more than enough.
good morning
the PC power supply is how many Amps because there are 40 cells anyway
5 to 10 amps is more than enough.
As it is not charging the cells only testing.
@@MakerMan thanks
Welcome
Do you have a link for your power supply of that tester? where to buy?
Any 5v power supply should work. I used a PC power supply.

great job, where did you buy ZB2L3
AliExpress
@@MakerMan ZB2L3 does has a figurations. And if yes where to find it .

PC power supply. Any 5v supply should work.
@@MakerMan but how.many ampers
15 amp,
@@MakerMan 15 amps but there are 40 cells in parallel?
5 to 10 is also enough.
input how many amperes?
Yes to check the MAh
@@MakerMan sorry I mean, how much is the requirement for the whole module, how many amperes?
Good day Makerman, is this capacity tester applicable for 32650?
Yes but u will have to change the cell holder.
@@MakerMan thank you...more power...
👏
Thanks
hi I need this PCB design

It is called zb2l3.
Let me know if you can't find it.
Thanks for your comment.
