Everyone says that if it comes in plastic and not a dust bag, it’s fake. You are the only person who has debunked that. It just means it’s from the outlet! I thought I had gotten a fake wallet, even after I was shown the receipt, but the packaging was exactly like yours with the brown sticker. I feel so much better now. Thank you!

I saw a CBC video where they were showing shoppers on the street (outside outlets) what the differences were and a few people were pissed because they felt misled. The argument was that the brands weren't making it clear that the outlet items were of inferior quality.

I mean its very typical for luxury brands to this becuase they need to cut the cost of the pieces for outlet. So its nothing new and they also change up the design to seperate the items from their boutique counterparts(thats what i learned when i worked in vacaville outlets and working in bloomingdale's)(i also worked in other luxury stores as well in my college years). Typically these outlet items often have "siblings" in the boutique store. Also fendi, prada, and any other luxury designers that have outlets do make items specifically for outlet too. I love your content and keep it up.

I like your videos, but I have to say this one is misleading. I bought a micro guccisima (smaller GG like your orange card holder) full size wallet in a Gucci boutique in 2013. Clearly, not all micro guccicima items are for outlet only. I later bought a pink card holder with bigger GG (the same one as your black card holder except the color) in 2014 or 2015. The SA told me that they don't make the micro anymore.
Those outlet even get lines from tourists people thinking they are getting a good deal. Little so they know they are getting ripped off. The security people treat them like they are doing them a favor for letting them in.
So disappointed ... I'll be in Italy for June and I was about to go to the mall in Florence but with this I don't know ... Or the quality will be better in Europe?

I would have thought if someone were really comparing quality, there would have been some mention of what exactly was different in materials do they actively use lesser quality leather? Cheaper hardware if it’s a different piece? The craftsmanship as a whole? There just could have been more information to appropriately represent boutique vs outlet. The point of the comment was to say it would be nice to have this be a bit more in depth but instead we are looking at it as an attack
