Most of the time when people don't make themselves known I think it's just because they aren't watching the stream at that moment.
Gold players being able to play with diamond players is such a issue
Despite how they were playing most the match, at 18:55 I can appreciate a tank that listens to the "fall back" call. Most of my tanks in gold just ignore it so props for that
i can really appreciate how much they want to help their teammates with dm, thats part of the makings of a great dva player
Emongg should submit his own gameplay and review it as if its any other spectate video.

the enemy team was most definitely saying the tank was “carrying” ironically cuz i can guarantee the dvas teammates were flaming him in match chat. it’s a fun way to fight toxicity in low ranks hehe
I don't think they were "fighting toxicity", most likely just mocking the Dva. I remember a game that i got a Widow that ended the match with 3 elim and 14 deaths, meanwhile the enemy team mocked them the whole match saying stuff like "look at that widow carry", "top 500 widow smurf", "Ans who? i only know (name of the person)." The widow got mad and started to trash talk them back lol
To this day i have no idea how we won that game.
Edit: But, honestly, while i have no idea if that widow was throwing or not, what the enemy team did was so unnecessary...

Yeah, I think in low elo, people on chat only to talk shit or do cringe pastas. Once you get higher people actually compliment you honestly. I have gotten people in Gold 4 shit on me for running Ball into Sombra, Bastion and Orisa and barely scrapping a win.
@@MrTenInHell this super isn't true tbh, I've been down there for years because I treated comp like qp for like 5 years (so for the past 5 years i've been bronze to plat regularly). Its just as likely they saw the couple of dms when they tried to kill pharah during the ults and considered the dva good because of that (you don't see that in gold every time). But most likely they were just being contrary to the person being overly mean because, if we're honest, everyone in the metal ranks is bad and doesn't know the game. Me included. We aren't good enough to actually critique others play and alot of us know that so its pretty common to see people defend others just because of that. People often have no idea what won or lost a fight or match, you will hear people attribute wild things to a win or loss that just didn't play a major factor.
edit to add of course people trash talk and blame people for losses, but its just as likely in my experience to have friendly chats in all chat. Whenever i meet a really good shot down there I play a game of "dodge the bullet" with them and it usually leads to us talking about it because we're just having fun testing our skills against eachother

I'm glad I'm not the only one who learned to DM their own Pharah's ult so they don't die after watching emongg.
Maybe the dva player didn't adjust their settings for manual flight controls

About the zarya switch: I don't know if you have this happen in gm and stuff but in lower ranks people will literally purposefully throw the game if someone doesn't switch when they are asked. I've had that happen so many times. People don't realize that they aren't the main character and get angry when people don't do what they tell you to do.
I do not know a single gold who wants to play with or against diamonds. That's the problem here
One of the first things I learned in OW2 was to cancel abilities to put them on cooldown faster to have them available sooner for the next fight(sonetimes to my own detriment)
They need to adjust sensitivity. They lose track of targets once they fly in.
Change the flight button to hold instead of press. It’s much better as it will drop out of flight as soon as you release the button.
Always the dva on my team who does this crap. Stay 50 feet back doing 3 damage a shot and focusing entirely on enemy tank. Rather than the enemy dva diving supports and escaping with 5 hp while dominating.
Do you ever watch these gold replays and feel like "how is this gold?" but then watch some of the silver replays and think "wait, how is this only silver?"
I'm silver for support and tank, and I can definitely say for sure there are games where I'm like, how are these people in this rank, and why do I feel I don't belong here with the insane shots and plays people in my matches make, plus being tank diffed almost all the time
And I'm even in bronze 1 for dps and still feel it's too high for me. It's ridiculous how much the lower ranks changed since season 9 and I definitely feel I fell way behind
The tank was playing their rank so I wouldn't lay all the blame on them. Even worse when you're getting flamed. I blame the higher ranked teammates for not giving good advice instead of flaming.
I dont really understand the swap off hog from the enemy tank. Seems like they would have had a much easier time just staying hog
I hate the DVa mirror so much, but I hate the counter swap to Zarya this guy made. It was a pretty even DVa matchup that didn't need Zarya

This player lost my respect when they broke the dva mirror to go Zarya.
This is more so a prime example why you should turn off all chats in metal ranks, especially tanks. You already knew to do stuff like dm your ulting phara without coms, and the coms you got were: "you should play Zarya on Circus Royal" and "You were threw the game".
My quick guess before watching is dva did neither but rather played decent enough but team just couldn’t see her all the time so they didnt feel the impact

As a person who is in placements still that actually dominated fairly easy as a dva and got a quadruple kill with my ult somehow, this hurts me more than it hurts you bc she was wasting her cooldowns like the matrix as you need to use it while in corners inbetween fights, i appreciate the ult as using them early can get one or more which helps benefit fights in future parts as you can always get them more later, but she should of used it in a more los perspective where there is more likely a enemy is at, and i believe in perspective if you see 5 enemies, dont rush in, pressure slowly once you notice a flaw or a opportunity for your flankers to shine and pick off squishies, but if you hide a little and take a second to get healed before peeking again this can help keep you living more but downside your kinda back at square 1

A lot of matches I've lost is because someone wanted me to go zarya instead of diff the other dva
Just curious: why is Zarya not good on CR? I love going Zarya against Sigma so I often pick her (metal ranks)
My guess would be long sightlines and elevation. Even if you choose to "counter" Sig, it doesn't stop the enemy dps/support from playing from afar and making that gameplan difficult since you have to run it there.
A lot of it is the high ground on CR is so essential / dominant. Zarya can't effectively contest height like a DVA or Winston, or block sightlines like sig. In low elo where people run it down mid, Zarya stomps, but her weaknesses are easy to exploit on CR if you know what they're doing.
Zarya is squishy. A long sight line with no cover to dip behind just results in using bubbles and dying

frontlining, boosting into the enemy backline in front of the whole team, and then missing almost every shot once he's there is sending me
not saying it's an aim problem, but dude definitely needs to think about how he can engage without boosting so that he'll have an escape tool for when he can't finish off his target. improving aim can take a little time, but setting up engagements properly is like an easy cheat code in these ranks
If we're talking just tanks, how is a mirror matchup something worth swapping for at all? The only time youd swap from a mirror is if the other tank is just so much better than you on that hero.

The dva we spectated was so bad and I doubt the enemy team were saying he was carrying 😂 maybe said that so it’ll cancel out that his team was saying he was throwing.
perspective of alot of players is very limited, supports tend to see the most of the game and have the best idea of what actually happened, tanks having the most narrow view of their team since they are usually at the vanguard. Its super possible the ones who said they carried were dps or tanks trying to shoot the phara when they were ulting, so they saw a few pretty decent dm's for the rank and clapped back at some random being overly mean.
But yeah people will say all sorts of wild things they wouldn't say after watching the replay because perspective is just limited in the middle of a game. Also, from personal experience, metal rank players don't have any idea how to actually parse through what happened in a game or what wins or loses games. Its wild down there lol
Honeslty my favorite thing to do in comp is gaslight the worst enemy on the other team into thinking they were good and their team was the problem. Gotta do something to start fights if they ban me for saying anything else.
