Brock is getting even better. He’s going to biggest underdog legend ever in the NFL. Kids it doesn’t matter where you get drafted or where u start in life period. Be Great at whatever you love doing.
Brock is facing 8 man drop backs at the second highest rate in the league. They are trying to take away yak and make him throw checkdowns. He's like, "nah I still want to lead the league in deep passing this year, drop as many guys back as you want."
Top 2. 2 SB’s his 1st 2 seasons barring a freak injury. Should have won last year with help from defense and HC late in the game. ONLY Patrick M. is better cause of his 3 SB rings. Dropped the damn mic!

@@ChaseDanielShow and I really appreciate you! I have learned tons about how things work in the game thanks to these videos. Used to just watch and have no idea what happened hahah! Now I view the game very diferently, all thanks to you!
Love these breakdowns Chase (especially about my QB Brock Purdy). I've been a football fan for years and played in HS, but never knew how complicated offensive and defensive schemes can get. Learning so much watching these!
Really like ur take Chase! Somebody that actually gives Brock his credit. I’m a football noob, dont know too much about routes and concepts and all that, but ur videos I can atleast pretend to know whats going on! 😃
Thanks Chase! Really appreciate the breakdowns. This year is actually Brock's first full offseason as the starter. He was outstanding before, and is definitely improving. It's on tape. 15:42 The ball's a little low, but that's 51 air yards. Brock's throwing deeper this year. 16:32 QB looked off the safety, that's why he was out of position on the deep route. 19:55 Jennings was getting facemasked when he made the Willie Mays catch. Brock (and obviously Jauan) played very well in the loss to the Rams too.
They absolutely do runs this year out of that small shuffle running back motion where you said "now you know it's a pass". It's crazy, don't know if I've ever seen that before 9ers this season
great analysis man. Only thing I’d disagree with is on the TD pass to Kittle, I think that pass was exactly what Purdy meant to throw. Kittle was surrounded so Purdy dropped it down on him and relied on kittles size and physicality to get it done. There were too many hands on the area for a more direct pass.
Peppers did a heck of a good job keeping his eyes on the QB and coming off Kittle to help the corner route. Without that play Aiyuk would have that TD. What I didn't understand was why the route is designed like that .... If the Safety sits down on the numbers (on Kittle), Aiyuk should have gone right down the middle where there's nobody. His route took him back into traffic and Peppers got in front of that throw.
People saying 2 high is limiting passing offense are WRONG. Purdy is out here proving that you need an elite passer who doesn't let defense limit what he can do.
Yeah that int wasn't even a bad decision. The db played his technique very well, kept some depth, and followed the quarterback's eyes to the receiver. Brock probably should've hit Aiyuk in the first window with more of a bullet pass. Lofting it up does give the DB time to recover.
He was coming off Kittle when Aiyuk reached the first window, and he ended up on Aiyuk when it was too late. If he kept his eyes on the Kittle route a second longer he could have frozen the safety long enough for Aiyuk to get past his level, but his quick processing worked against him. He needs to work in some fakes into his reportoire to off balance dbs.
@RR63-l4o You sound like all those haters who said Purdy's high passing yards are all due to YAC by his supporting cast. This year the 49ers are ranked at the very bottom, #32, in YAC. Yet Purdy is #2 in passing yards. He's behind Gino Smith who has 52 more yards. However, Smith did it with 37 more pass attempts. Give Purdy 37 more attempts, times his #1 ranked Avg. Yds/Att, and he has 344(!) more yards that would put him WAY beyond Smith and the rest of the league. "He's a system QB and can't make off-schedule plays." (Lots of scramble plays, turning big somethings out of nothings with both his arm and his legs.) "He can't lead a team from behind." (Breaks the record for biggest half-time comeback in NFC Championship history.) "He can only win because of his supporting cast." (Throws for 292 yards, 3 TD's, 0 INT's without CMC, Kittle or Deebo and a rusty Aiyuk Wk3. Previous week, 319 yards, also without those 3 star targets and even rustier Aiyuk. Again, these aren't YAC yards.) "He's got a weak arm." (Breaks the NFL season record for deep pass (20+ yds) Cmpl% at 63.8, beating the previous NFL record by a whopping 9%.) He just broke Mahome's NFL record for Passer Rating in first 25 games (since the 1970 merger) with average PR of 112.6 (also beating Warner and Marino). Haters just sound silly at this point.
On the throw to kittle i think maybe deebo just wasnt in his direct line of sight and he may have seen the defender dropping back and went with the harder throw cuz he felt it was either kittle makes a play or its just incomplete vs risking an interception throwing in the middle to deebo
The only thing that concerns me about Brock is his tendency to force a throw on Aiuke, who is not performing as well as he did last year, nearing the end of his contract. Aiuke is not the same player as last year.
His contract isn't guaranteed crap those contracts are crazy intricate like dang a lot to read and certain exceptions have to be done or no go and such

Purdy has one of the fastest 10 yard dashes in the game. Beating both Deebo and CMC.
