What a great video! Very helpful. I like to pose some of my seniors with a gentle head lean against a railing or fence post.

Appreciate the videos! Just getting into senior portrait photography and using your course is super helpful. Now I don't feel as guilty for having screenshots on my phone that I pull out during a session. 🙂

I’m so thankful you said that about using your phone to look at some saved pose ideas I always save pics but am nervous to look at them during the session. I need to get over this. I also make note cards for each client with specific ideas and look over before their session. This is helpful. I’m considering writing on my hand or getting one of those wrist things quarterbacks use for plays!😂😂😂 Love all your videos!!!

Thanks for this video, I think what would help me and hopefully others is if you put a simple small graphic of your settings on the photos...that to me still remains a real struggle...maybe I'm asking too much .

I have a question. For thr walking poses what are your typical camera settings and how do you focus. When I attempt these even with a faster shutter speed and lower aperture doing back button focus and one shot focus I tend to lose focus while they are walking and looking around. Those images tend to look soft. I've always struggled with walking poses.

We always use aF-c and hold bbf down as they walk. We focus on the face and drag our camera down as the walk toward us to keep them in frame.
