Family of 3 to 5 what is the best aperture?

What if you get bad weather for an outdoor shoot, especially on an event that can't be rescheduled, like a wedding.

What do you do if the husband doesn't really smile, like if he looks super tense and the wife is smiling like a model?

One of my favorite family poses is to have the kids sitting in the foreground looking at the camera, and the parents slightly out of focus throwing leaves, acting silly, etc.

A over loud mom. The 3 yr old wouldn’t sit and I was getting her comfy , chit chat but the mom kept over talking me. Suggesting other things. How can I turn that around or ask her to leave for this part ?

Had people ask for the RAWs plenty of times. I offer them at triple the rate and that usually ends the discussion

Hi! I’ve been watching y’all’s videos for a while now! I’m a beginner photographer learning how to work manual mode (ISO/shutter speed/aperture) my biggest challenge at the moment is finding the right balance between aperture and shutter speed to capture crisp images with the correct lighting.

Great posing ideas. In Alaska I do a lot of beach, senior photos. But with the sun light being pretty much all day in Alaska what would you suggest? Because there’s no or filtered light on the beach. It’s just wide open space. Thank you.

Could it be different if the type of photography were documentary or like an environmental portrait? Harsh light on the face might work

I love your tip about keeping the shoulders facing forward and the one stance ideas! All guys are different...some more relaxed, others not so much.

Nice video. You don’t mention if you use any fill flash on the back lit photos. Guessing you just over expose by +1 - + 2…and turn down the highlights in post? Thanks. You ladies do great work.

For me, it’s harder to edit when using shade, or with the subjects back to the sun. The subject always looks dingy/dark. Frustrating. Good tips, thank you!
