Got my truck tuned back in 2019 with just some stock tune efi live flashes and it runs like you'd dream a truck would. It doesnt have any crazy power, but for a stock turbo it'll get out of its own way👍 usually if a truck out there is any faster than mine (never a powerstroke), its dumping a shit ton of smoke, but they all take long to spool whatever they got.
Very cool build yes we tuners use EFI & HPT as the software we use to build our proprietary files for customers. I offer a 6 speed conversion similar to the Duramax tuner and suncoast kit for a better price and let my customers either buy all parts from me or source their own components. The LLY and LB7 are great trucks they are extremely detuned from the factory even little changes make a big difference when done right. The only reason big companies are going out of business is because they are selling a lot of people delete tunes. Also “tuners” aren’t taking the time to log and properly make their calibrations so as you said and the tunes aren’t what they once were. On top of the fact tuners give customers tunes that are ment for built trucks and the trucks don’t last a year let alone a few months.
The problem with the EPA is we have not told them to go f themselves and chase them out of our businesses. EPA does not make laws, disobey tyrants and stop being your knees for the government, things won't get better if we keep being cowards.

Curious, did you have to specify that you have a 6 speed conversion kit on the truck for the tcm tuning? Or is that not an important detail with the tuning? I just converted my lly to a 6 speed, but don't want to jack things up with a 5 speed tune🤷♂️
How does your transmissions act in these trucks with lifts an all, i know these trucks,at least the Silverados have a lot of trans problems, just wandering how yours act

Try Lucas oil thickener or whatever it’s called. It will help quite the tick and possibly double the life it has left!
Those are sometimes a small manifold leak?
I tuned my lly and didn’t pull any fuses, came up with an error code and my ecm fried. I had to buy a new one and get it reflashed to my vin
