Never Will We Forget... September 11th Rememberance Week Announcement This week, we solemnly pause to honor and remember the lives lost during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. On this day 23 years ago, nearly 3,000 innocent people lost their lives in a series of terrorist attacks that targeted the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a plane that crashed in Pennsylvania. We remember the victims, the brave first responders, and the countless individuals who risked their lives to save others. We express our deep gratitude to the firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, and everyday citizens who acted heroically in the face of unimaginable danger. Their courage and sacrifice in the hours, days, and months following the attacks remind us of the resilience and unity that define our communities. Let us also take a moment to thank those who continue to protect our safety and freedoms, from our military forces to emergency responders, ensuring that we are better prepared for any challenges ahead. As we reflect on this day, let us remember the importance of unity, compassion, and strength, and honor the memories of those who are no longer with us. We also want to thank the first responders that risked their life to help others. Firefighters (FDNY) • 343 firefighters from the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) died. Many of these firefighters were inside the towers when they collapsed, having gone up to help evacuate people trapped on the upper floors. Police Officers • 37 officers from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department (PAPD). • 23 officers from the New York City Police Department (NYPD). Emergency Medical Services (EMS) • 8 paramedics and EMTs from private emergency medical services and FDNY’s EMS division died while helping people at the scene. We pray to God 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

9/11, a day that sent the country of the United States into chaos, striking everyone with fear, and putting everyone on edge everywhere they went, I learned something yesterday from an excellent teacher I have, and ima quote it. "We can't be scared everywhere we go, we can't have the thought of fear on us." Any day could be our last, we just gotta learn to not be afraid, sure on 9/11 everybody was scared, fear has taken over. But, here we are 23 year's later, still standing, stronger and bigger than ever before. Even during our darkest hour, we shown the brightest, everyone who risked or gave their life for other's, they shown the light during America's darkest day. A day we won't forget. Like another thing i heard moreover a movie refrence but, "we live for nothing, but we die, for something." We do have a purpose in this world, on 9/11, for the people who died, they died for something, always being remembered, 23 years in. 9/11 is a day that we can't ever forget. Ever.
My dads had a neighbor in 2001 who went to new york to explore the north tower, the neighbor never made it out, the neighbor was on floor 93 and died instantly from impact
