🕊️Rest in peace to all who lost their lifes to 9/11. Rest in peace to all first responders who lost their lifes to 9/11 They Will All Have A Place In Our Hearts🕊️
The losses weren't in vain, even taking down the biggest threat didn't bring any of them back. All we can do is remember this day every year wishing things played out differently, but, it taught the country and this world a lesson we won't forget.
This bring back memories, I am turning 15 in 2025, and let me just say, I wish I met my grandfather. He was so kind, and loving, but sadly, he did pass away inside of this event. Rest in piece to him. He was not only a great person, but also a very thoughtful person and ALWAYS put others before himself. He was 42 when he passed away that day. His name still stands in the 9/11 memorial. Wilbur Frank Ignico. rest In Piece Grandpa, wish I was born sooner so I can at least say "Hi." See you in the afterlife. 💔💔 Edit: Thank you everyone for mourning the loss of my grandpa. My mom told me every thing, and just wish I could've met him. Thanks for the support. 💔
Not trying to intrude in your personal life, genuine question, was he in the north or south tower? On the streets of nyc? Or was he a passenger in the plane? I’m so sorry for your loss though! I bet he is smiling down at u from heaven ☺️🕊️🕊️✝️✝️
i feel the same as u, my brother in law(was about to be married to my sister in 10 days) i never got to meet him but may everyone rip, this was a fateful day in americas history, my brother in laws name was David Meyer
On the evening of September 10th, 3000 People 343 NY Firefighters 71 Law Enforcement 55 Military Personnel 1 Parks & Wildlife Member All went to sleep, Only to wake up for the last time the next day. May all of them Rest in Peace
You know my school has so much time but they can’t spend 5 minutes honoring 9/11 but this guy who barely has time because of editing and other things makes one every year now honestly that’s amazing thank you
**September 11th 2001** On this day, 2,996 good men and women woke on a beautiful Tuesday morning in New York City. They then began there regular morning commute, expecting a regular day at work. For others, some had just started school and were looking forward to getting to see their friends and teachers. Little did they know in just a few hours, the world would change forever At approximately 8:46 am, a hijacked airplane heading from Boston to Los Angeles hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center. At approximately 9:03 am, a second hijacked plane struck the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Within hours, both towers would collapse killing thousands of people. 343 firefighters, 72 police officers, and 8 medical personnel lost their lives that day. These brave men and women ran into those towers, knowing the risk of not making it out. Despite this, their selflessness and bravery helped save many people that day. This was not only an attack on the city of New York, but an attack on the United States and an attack on freedom. Today we remember and honor the lives lost 23 years ago and humble our hearts to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice that day.
8:19 AM EST, American Airlines Flight 11 is hijacked in the New York skies. 5 minutes later, Atta, one of the hijackers, accidently alerts air traffic control. 13 minutes after that, Boston Air Traffic alerts the US Air Force's Northeast Defence Sector, the Air National Guard is also mobilised. The next major incident of Flight 11 is it's end... crashing into the North Tower.... Not even 20 minutes later, Flight 175 suffers the same fate... this time crashing into the South Tower... people realise this' no accident... but a cruel & horrid act outside of humanity... 2 minutes later, the POTUS George W Bush, talking to a class in a Florida primary school is informed of the attack on the WTC but doesn't immediately take action not wanting panic to occur in the classroom. 23 minutes later, 9:28 AM, United Airlines Flight 93 is attacked by it's hijackers... 9 minutes later, American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon... it's naive to believe these are all accidents and not attacks on the United States of America, additionally more or less. Quarter to 10 AM, American Airspace is finally closed under Operation Yellow Ribbon, 1 hour & 36 minutes after the first hijacking & 59 minutes after the first hit on American Infrastructure. 10 minutes later, Air Force One with GW Bush takes off from Florida... 9:57 AM, the passengers of Flight 93 begin a heroic revolt that would accomplish it's main goal, making sure no one else is killed by the plane & it's hijackers. In response, the hijacker piloting the plane, Jarrah, rolls the plane back & forth in attempt to quell the revolt... 9:59 AM, the South Tower collapses first due to it's hit being closer to it's base.... 10:02 AM, Flight 93 crashes in a Pennsylvania field near Shanksville, it's believed it's intended target was the White House or Congress. Unfortunately, those people are killed, just like those that died in the Pentagon, WTC 1 & WTC 2. At least they didn't let anyone else perish, this'd be the last plane involved with 9/11 to crash... 10:18 AM, Bush orders all non-grounded planes to be shot down, Flight 93 had already crashed but the President & his team were unaware at the time. 10 minutes later, WTC 1, the North Tower, finally collapses, 1 hour & 42 minutes after Flight 11's crashing into it, 29 minutes after it's siblings collapse. Thus ends the Twin Towers... 10:53 AM, then USDEF Donald Rumsfeld orders US Military to enter a higher state, DEFCON 3. 58 minutes later, Air Force 1 lands at Barksdale Air Force Base near Shreveport, Louisiana. Half an hour later, the airspace of the United States is completely free of all commercial and private flights. 1 hour & 15 minutes later, Air Force 1 leaves Barksdale... At 2:30 PM, Rudy Giuliani, the then Mayor of New York City, visits the fallen Twin Towers of the WTC at what has become known as Ground Zero. Half an hour later, Air Force 1 lands at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, and President Bush is immediately taken to a secure bunker that is capable of withstanding a nuclear attack. 1 hour and a half later, Air Force 1, with Bush on board, leaves Offutt and heads back toward Andrews Air Force base near Washington, DC.... 5:30 PM, WTC 7 collapses.... Finally, at 8:30 PM, 12 hours & 11 minutes after the first hijacking, George W Bush addresses the United States of America...
**The Impact and Legacy of September 11, 2001** September 11, 2001, is a date etched into the collective memory of people around the world. On that fateful morning, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks orchestrated by the extremist group al-Qaeda forever altered the trajectory of global politics, security, and daily life. The attacks, which involved the hijacking of four commercial airliners, resulted in the destruction of the World Trade Center's Twin Towers, significant damage to the Pentagon, and the loss of nearly 3,000 lives. This essay examines the immediate and long-term impacts of 9/11, exploring its effects on national security, international relations, and societal dynamics. The immediate impact of 9/11 was profound. The destruction of the Twin Towers and the attack on the Pentagon symbolized an assault on American power and prestige. The loss of life was staggering, and the emotional trauma inflicted on the nation was immense. In the days following the attacks, a sense of vulnerability permeated American society. This vulnerability prompted a swift and decisive response from the U.S. government, culminating in the initiation of the War on Terror. One of the most significant consequences of 9/11 was the reshaping of U.S. foreign and domestic policies. The attacks led to the launch of military operations in Afghanistan aimed at dismantling al-Qaeda and removing the Taliban regime that harbored them. This intervention marked the beginning of a prolonged military engagement in the region, with far-reaching implications for international relations and global security. Domestically, 9/11 prompted sweeping changes in national security policy. The creation of the Department of Homeland Security and the implementation of the USA PATRIOT Act represented efforts to enhance security and counteract terrorism. While these measures were intended to safeguard the nation, they also sparked debates about civil liberties and privacy. The balance between security and individual rights became a contentious issue, reflecting the broader struggle to address the threat of terrorism while preserving democratic values. The economic impact of 9/11 was also significant. The immediate destruction of infrastructure, combined with the subsequent downturn in consumer confidence and business activity, resulted in substantial economic costs. The insurance industry faced unprecedented claims, and the tourism and airline industries were particularly hard hit. In the longer term, the financial burden of military operations and increased security measures contributed to national debt and economic strain. On a societal level, 9/11 left an indelible mark on American culture and global perceptions of the United States. The attacks galvanized a sense of national unity and resilience, but they also fostered an atmosphere of fear and suspicion. The rise of anti-Muslim sentiment and the stigmatization of Islamic communities in the U.S. and abroad highlighted the challenges of maintaining social cohesion in the face of terrorism. The cultural and psychological effects of the attacks underscored the complex interplay between security concerns and social dynamics. In conclusion, the events of September 11, 2001, had far-reaching and multifaceted impacts. The immediate aftermath saw a reevaluation of national security, leading to significant policy shifts and military engagements. The economic repercussions were profound, influencing various sectors and contributing to broader fiscal challenges. On a societal level, the attacks reshaped cultural narratives and prompted ongoing debates about security, privacy, and tolerance. As the world continues to grapple with the legacy of 9/11, it is essential to reflect on these impacts to better understand the complex and evolving nature of global and domestic security challenges.
Today was remembrance day in Canada and there was an assembly in our school, we all got the poppies and the teachers taught us about the history of Canada and the people who did sacrifices for their family, friends and the country. The assembly was so emotional, but I literally saw people laughing in the assembly and disrespecting the poppies. I was so shocked since it was my first remembrance day in Canada, I was not even born in Canada, but I still could feel the pain for some reason, like I was related to it. And I just came home and checked the awesome man's channel, and saw this and this made me so emotional too. Let's take a moment and thank our ancestors and the people who sacrificed. Peace out!

**The Impact and Legacy of September 11, 2001**
September 11, 2001, is a date etched into the collective memory of people around the world. The attacks, which involved the hijacking of four commercial airliners, resulted in the destruction of the World Trade Center's Twin Towers, significant damage to the Pentagon, and the loss of nearly 3,000 lives. To all 343 New York Firefighters, 81 New York Police Officers, and all of the many other lives lost on this day, all twenty-three years ago, I want to take a moment of silence to honor them. “Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost, a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11.” - Barack Obama

RIP to the victims of 9/11. 🕊
For those who don’t know: on 11th September 2001, a terror attacked happened in New York, first plane that was hijacked was American Airlines flight 11 which hit the north tower then later that morning American Airlines Flight 175 collided with the south tower of the World Trade Centre also later that day there were 2 more accidents one headed to the Pentagon which crashed which was American Airlines flight 77 and later a flight was headed to crash with the White House but the passengers attacked the hijackers making the plane crash before reaching the White House
I remember telling my mom and grandma what happened back then in 2001 my grandma was at home and my mom was like 9 years old while she was in 5 grade then my grandma told me that when she was watching tv she came across a breaking news saying that the World Trade Center had exploded due to a plane driving through the World Trade Center then after that my mom got out of school early and when she got there she saw my grandma crying in tears seeing the World Trade Center on fire and seeing people fall out the building and end there life this all happened on September 11 2001 all of my family saw this terrifying terroist attack that happened on 2001 the pentagon got in a terroist attack and then the Pennsylvania got into a attack too my grandpa saw everything and he was scared and was sad
Rest and peace to all of those people on September 11 2001 may make there souls rest
