Watching this now as a 17 year old and it's changed so much! Literally my favourite place in the world, can't believe there were people spectating from inside the circuit, there's no way you could do that now. Shame they lost the F1 but it's still got great events on all the time.

I know right? It boggles the mind to see now how little was put into spectator safety back then. They too were accepting the risk of death or injury for watching the race live.
      Great footage, still!

Wow! I was born in '62 and my first time was in '79 for the international F1 race of champions. Since them I've always had this down as the best circuit in UK. Now in 2022 I race around on my Aprilia RSV4 and have a fixed smile on my face every lap. Druids lives up to it's name - wow!! Thank you for sharing

I'd seen this before and was looking for it again but couldn't remember how it was titled. The thing is there was a reason I was looking for it but now I can't remember what that reason was ツ

JIM CLARK - By far the greatest driver ever - no doubt. He is and was the Best of the Best. No other driver in history until today was so superior as Clark.
This man is the Olymp of driving - the Michelangelo of racing - a dynamic art at the highest level. So smooth, so precise, so fast....simply out of this world. One, who won in Spa by 5 minutes (!) in monsoon rain...One, who takes back a complete lap (!) in Monza and back into the lead... One, who took pole on the original 22,8 km Nürburgring track by 9 (!) seconds and more....One who won Indy by 2 whole (!) laps...For eternity and by lightyears unmatched in the sport. That`s just four examples of his mesmeric unique genius...

I love all the 'eras' of Grand Prix racing. It's quite common, sadly, to see binary thinking nostalgia hounds or history erasing neophytes. But I can't think of any time since 1950 that didn't have an element of excitement or great marques.

Great footage! A legend! Made some laps on Assetto Corsa with Lotus 25 is very enjoyable! Current Hill bend is sharper now respect 1964. Three bents today are in memory of Clark Hill and Surtees... it's all said.
