      Have the best time! May will be pretty similar to when I went in April. Just bring layers and comfortable shoes. You will have so much fun!

    Thank you so much!!! I am leaving for my study abroad in Dublin in January and LOVED this video. We have a similar style so I really appreciate you showing the clothes. How many bags did you pack? Also, you said you wouldn't have brought as many shoes, so which ones would you not have brought? I am also intrested in the number of t-shirts you needed. Thank you!!

    • @OnTheGoWithCarson
      @OnTheGoWithCarson  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are so welcome! I'm glad this helped you out. Well, I was only gone for 10 days. I'm not sure how long your study abroad is but I obviously didn't need to stay there an extended time. I can't remember how many T-shirts I packed because this was back in April but I typically bring around 3 per trip. I only packed one bag and one backpack since I was only there for 10 days. And I probably wouldn't have brought as many boots! You really only need one or two pair. Maybe one for wet scenarios and one for going out/on the town scenarios. Sorry, I wish I had better info but my trip wasn't a study abroad trip so I didn't have to bring nearly as much! And I'm losing some of the finer details because it was back in April. But I hope I helped!

    Wish the suitcase size used had been included. It must have been pretty big. Also would be good to know when you went.

    • @OnTheGoWithCarson
      @OnTheGoWithCarson  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! I used a regular sized checked suitcase, nothing special about it. I went in April but I have now gone again after this trip which was in September and this information still stands true as the climate can be similar year round (all seasons in a day, wind, etc.)

    Thanks so much for sharing! What time of the year did you go? I'm looking at going august and getting items right now. Do you recommend turtle necks or crew necks and a scarf that time of year?

    • @OnTheGoWithCarson
      @OnTheGoWithCarson  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re welcome!! I went in April. June-August is known for being warmer so I’m not sure I’d bust out the scarves for that time of year. However, it’s hard for me to say since I haven’t been during that month.
      The weather can change quickly and you may experience 4 seasons in one day, so I don’t think you should pack for winter but definitely have something on hand for cooler days if it happens! Layers are so important!

      I can imagine how special Ireland is, and I am wondering if there are stand out places you would go back to in Ireland and which you would highly recommend.

    • @OnTheGoWithCarson
      @OnTheGoWithCarson  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You seriously can't go wrong anywhere in Ireland. But here are my suggestions: A local told me to skip the Blarney stone, and we did and don't regret it. I loved Killarney. And the Dingle Peninsula was one of the prettiest places I've seen my whole life. But you HAVE to see the Cliffs of Moher. So there are a few must sees "do not misses" etc.
      Are you going to Northern Ireland? I didn't know whether to include that or not but I loved it up there.

      I'm not sure I'm going to be making it back to Europe this year sadly. I have two huge other trips in 2019 but neither of them in Europe :/ But I plan to go back to Europe and spend a bunch of time next year!

      What a pity! You are welcome to Poland. I have only one large trip this year - Chile and Bolivia. I start on Monday. If you would like to go to the countries of the Visegrad group, I will help you with my knowledge. Where else are you going this year?

    I want to wear cowgirl boots.

    • @OnTheGoWithCarson
      @OnTheGoWithCarson  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately, I don’t think cowgirl boots would be super practical in most situations but I guess it does depend on the boot! I would opt in for wearing hiking boots in the countryside and a nice black boot in the cities 🙂
