Thank goodness for solo q RBGs. BGs have been my absolute, hands down, favorite play in this game since WotLK. It will be the only reason I come back to retail. Yeehaw!

As for que-syncing, you will be able to only queue as a pair only if you are dps and healer. As there are only 2 healers per team, you can only achieve at best 4 people out of the team as premade. It is still considerable advantage, but you will not be able to cheese whole team this way. Also as you said, this will be cross-faction, so there are chances that queue-syncers will be dissolved into opposing teams.
That's what I'm hopeful for as well. Or like, if there were for instance like 2 hunters on a team I wouldn't mind if one of them was MM if the other one was BM or Survival. The only time where I see spec stacking happening right now is if healers decide to duo queue, they can actually duo with another healer so it's possible right now for there to be double MW, double Disc Priest, etc.
played one last night with 4 rogues on a flag map, instant loss. Also had a team with all melee dmg dealers, another loss. No rating change for the losses though.
I think BG Blitz for the everyday player might be more beneficial for them since it's a larger group with components outside of (Kill X Player), however the rating seems like it's going to be pretty easy to manipulate and it's not a real reflection on your performance overall. Say WSG since this is the most tactical imo, you can be peeling, attacking efc, and returning flags, but if no one assist flag bc they're fighting mid you lose points. It's also bred for wintrading when someone can manipulate the game by holding a flag til efc get to the base and they drop it. Not to mention, actual RBGs give replica gear. It would be nice if they make the replica gear unlockable for more classes outside of the Vanilla originals so people who aren't playing those have even more incentive to push
Pretty sure BG Blitz gives the Rating achievements for RBG on beta which can be used to buy replica gear. I also don't see how BG Blitz is any more prone to win-trading than Solo Shuffle, 2v2 or 3v3. In fact, I'd say it's harder to ensure you get into two opposite teams because there are way more players involved. As for rating, it's the same as in Dota and League. If your real rating is 1800 and you are currently at 1500, it will take a bit to get to that 1800 because you are not good enough to solo-carry your team. If your real rating is 2400 and your current rating is 1500, you will climb much faster at first and it will slow down as you approach your real rating because you will have less and less impact on the outcome. Already in prepatch you can see that it takes waaay longer to climb in BG Blitz. On a fresh char I got to 2.4k in solo shuffle in way less than half the time it took me to get to 1.8k in BG Blitz, even with constantly being in 2.3-2.4 MMR lobbies. If they don't change the rating acquisition then people will have a bad awakening if they have to grind hundreds of hours to get to 2.4 in BG Blitz.
The initial maps in Pvp battle ground are very simple and too casual. If they want to make a profitable Pvp battleground, they need to create more complex maps so everything around has a meaning. For example, not making a game just capture the flag or get Azerita, they need to count the kills too, apart from other objectives
So far it’s very fun, as a healer I feel I have way more influence over the outcome than in solo shuffle which I love, also way less CC to worry about so I can actually play the game
Haha dude one blitz we had 4 rogues and like 2 monks. We were so unbalanced. Only time I’ve had a gripe with blitz. That one was a WSG. But I’m super stoked so to see this!🎉
BattleGroundEnemies shows me all of the enemy players. BigDebuffs is what shows me the enemy cooldowns when they're active as well as if my own team mates are in crowd control. OmniCC fixes my own cooldown timers and gives me a more accurate timer for when my cds are coming up
Meta is probably going to become a huge issue very fast. Say you are matched with a Paltank, cuz why not, everyone should be able to queue and enjoy the game vs a Guardian druid, chances are you have no chance to win on a flag map. Even excluding tanks, the disparity in power of healers in RBG is crazy. There's a reason the meta stayed Evoker/MW for the whole expac. The mode is probably come with a lot of frustration, mainly because when in shuffle you have some degree of agency (its a 3v3), in an 8v8 scenario you are much more dependant on your teammates.
I don't know why you couldn't queue for Blitz and RSS at the same time. You can queue RSS and 2v2 at the same time right now. So I think you can do that already. I am less concerned with leavers with the account wide debuff, and them proving they can now do that. Which thanks to Holinka we know why it took 2 years to put in. But if people do leave idk what you do with the team left with 7. Maybe if the game just started you could end the game and put everyone in the game back in priority queue of some kind idk. To me you let it play out. Maybe cut the rating loss in half as you said. I have played thousands of BGB at this point and honestly even in the Brawl mode there are not a lot of leavers, it already does have the RSS stacking debuff per character though idk. Balance in BGs will only ever happen if they stop balancing around 3v3. Which is a tricky thing to do with 3v3 being the balancing point since 3v3 became an eSport basically. TBC I believe it was 5v5 they balanced around. But can't wait for the future of BGs and to see what other NEW BGs we get and when.

There is like 7 abslutly dog every single game matching with me . 90% of the game i have more dmg and objective interaction than rest of the team combine how im auppose to win . Won 7 game to 1340 and now lost like 12 game in a row. While im the onley one who is playing the game in all of them . Pretty fun

I've always enjoyed battlegrounds and have done like literally a handful of arenas only, but looking forward to getting into blitz.

Id also like to see blizzard make it so the team can't have repeated specs. So each team can't have more than one mm hunter for example

Last night our team was Ranged classes only and the enemy was balanced with plates and ranged. Guess who won Warsong? Blizzard is pure trash.
