Abandoned 1930s Rail Coach Saloon Rail coach at Trichy Rail Museum | Indian Railways

An Old abandoned M. G. Saloon coach of Indian Railways in Trichy Rail Museum.
At one time it was set up for public viewing.
It is now in a dilapidated state without any maintenance.
RA 9192, MG Wooden bodied saloon was built in the year 1930 during the era of earlier South Indian Railway (SIR) headquarterd at Trichinopoly. The saloon was utilized by Agents of SIR for official inspection purposes. After formation of southern railway (SR), the saloon was utilized by Trichy Divisional Superintendents / TPJ Divisional Railway Managers as Inspection Carriage till its condomnation on 24.05.2007. Later this Saloon was identified as Heritage Coach.

यह १९३० का कोच नही है।
१९७० तक लकड़ी के कोच हूवा करते थे, ट्यूब लाइट नहीं थी बल्ब हूवा करते थे, पहले ब्राड गेज में और फिर बाद में मीटर गेज में स्टील कोच का चलन आम हूवा था।

Yes. But it is owned by Southern Division and was used for official inspection purpose till 2007. That's why it consists of tube lights some other updated stuffs. you may see some photos hanging on the walls about the latest locos like wag-9 as it is kept in a museum without any maintanence.
