Flight 180 was actually on a actual plane crash flight TWA- 800. There are several similarities between the two as well. 1. Both aircraft a B747's 2. Both aircraft left J.F.K airport. 3. Both had a group of students onboard. 4. Both flights were going to land in France. 5. Both planes exploded. Also when Alex is watching the news on his tv. When you see the burning debris on the water that is actually some of the burning remains of Flight TWA-800
