if its your lower part of the DRL that has gone you have to replace the whole headlight as this part is sealed into the headlight Casing.
Only the top DRL Module can be replaced, I know this as I have it go on my audi a3 Sline 2017 model one side went, so I had to replace both actual headlights as the drl won't match, over time the tube in the headlight starts to deteriorate. Luckily I found to separate newer headlights for it but there is a slight difference in the drls. so only way to get around this is to buy 2 new drls from audi and fit them in.

yes it should be but different modules since you might have the matrix headlights
What’s the best way of polishing it?
probably using the polishing attachment from a dremel tool
Is this SLine 2019 model ?
Is it the same procedure for a Q2 2017
It mights be but I won't be able to confirm as I haven't had to work on a q2
