With all do respect: Don't block airflow but have tools you will need to do the job. In my truck i have all the "extras" needed (bulbs, fuses, rear o/s light..etc in a box, oversize equipment, ratchet bar, coil racks, a big bag of needed tools, oil, coolant, windshield wiper fluid, items to pad under straps/chains, 2" straps, extra 4" straps, & extra edge protectors. Like engineers, in theory, it sounds good on "paper" but you cant leave thise spaces "clear" or else you don't have what you need for the job. Personally, once my trucks no-idle shutdown temp gets raised to 100⁰, i will give it a week. I just want you guys to remember, you're messing with safety if this fails. We absolutely must have our sleep. I know everyone sleeps at different temps & you have to balance cost/profit but at what cost to the driver.
God I wish I could work for these guys. I got my app in but I'm just a first year I just coming up off of my first year of trucking over the road they probably will never take me
@@spdtrucking I've got my one year of OTR just over a year. Add flatbed well I think I have to wait another 2 months before another company will hire me for flatbed but it's all good
😂
I'll take your 360 call to discuss this
